Too bad we can't get an update on what attributes where adjusted rather than just the overall

Too bad we can't get an update on player tendencies. Anthony Davis have "0" on all of his post move tendencies. We all know that AD has countless post moves. That has to be represented properly

I KNEW IT.

Deron Williams joins the Cavs and IMMEDIATELY 2K drops his ratings.

You guys are a gd disgrace.

The way 2K balances attributes is strange, sometimes they will boost for a short stretch of good play but they almost never reduce significantly if a players fallen off hard in a short period of time.

John Wall can speed boost now, thank you!

......You do realize Mike Stauffer is a Cavs fan right......

Anyway the ONLY reason D-Will rated 78 OVR was to ensure he started ahead of Barea. 2K arbitrarily adjusts OVR to ensure rotations.

For example: Nikola Mirotic goes from 76 OVR (backing up Gibson) to 74 OVR (backing up Portis, who is only 74 OVR himself). Mirotic had 20/8 and 14/10 in the first two games following the Gibson trade.

Very often the OVR has little to do with the player's specific production and entirely to do with teammates/role.

yep. as long as they are so reiant on overall for contracts, rotations, free agent signings, etc. They artificially inflate them to make it work. That is what "intangibles" and other nonsenical categories are for. Unfortunately I don't have a better solution for how to prioritize a player in FA, contracts, or rotations. But it is a flaw that helps keep the game from allowing truly great players to separate themselves more from the average player.

I believe rotations are set separately. If they just let rotations be manual it would be a mad house.

Rotations for me at least typically adjust to real life. I'm not sure if they have a system in place to do this but it works great

The AI literally uses OVR to decide the position depth charts, and has for the last 17 years.

They need to update players hairstyles a lot of outdated hairstyles

That's never going to happen. That usually happens before or right after All-Star break. But with all the tournament stuff going on. That's last on the list.
