2k please sell the series to EA sports. You make too many mistakes. Can't get player names on screen while playing online. Too much my player focus on the game. I don't want to be me I want to be Michael Jordan!!!
I don't quite understand why you guys on console have to download 7 GB everytime a patch comes on. On PC, the size varies with each patch, most of them being around 100 MB big.

We download 30GB/4 patch in a week for nothing in the gameplay. We are so happy. Thanks 2k.
And? You say this like 2K is doing us a favor like we should be grateful.

If they're improving the game, I don't see how you wouldn't be grateful. But I don't come from this new breed of entitled gamers, so I don't and won't understand your viewpoint, but I do wish you a good day sir.

You would rather 2k sell the series to the same publisher and developer that's been struggling to release a competent and quality basketball game for 8 years? Man these complaints just get more and ridiculous. Some of you will just never be satisfied.

I'm with you man. It seems like people are expecting one magical patch that will fix every single issue with the game. If it was that simple to fix the problems in pretty sure 2k would have done it by now.
But what do I know. I've been playing these games before patches and roster updates were even possible so I'm just grateful at the quality of the games these days. The way people complain you would think 2k is releasing a game that is completely unplayable.
All of these hefty patches are definitely not good. Especially when you still have a lot of general gameplay issues yet to be resolved. Until the core is fixed, online will always be problematic in functionality.
the game is rushed out the door every year. It's the publisher's fault for not letting them finish the game. Patching is the only option. Honestly, an (every two year) 2k would fix most of the glaring issues. But they would never do that. Like in the real world, money comes first. Not correctness.

Wait a minute, I wasn't complaining, I'm excited. Why the.hell did you get that from? I need this patch.

Agreed. And this game is eons from being unplayable.
I can honestly say this is the first NBA 2K title I've ever been completely unhappy with. I cant fault them because with NBA Live out of the picture they don't have competition to make them keep working harder. Same we could say with Madden as well vice versa. But with that being said I don't know how I feel about the other titles going forward. I hope 2K team are reading these comments and taking it into consideration cause at some point the 2K customers will starts to rebel and ask for something new. I wouldn't be surprise if another dev team is about to come out with a new NBA game just like 2K did to NBA Live. We will see.
I have this game for ps4 pro and ever since this patch I can't play this game in 4K. As soon as it starts up it changes to 1080P and I can't change it...anyone else having this problem?
So what did the most recent patch do and why cant they do separate patches for each thing, do they have a issue where once they do a new patch it takes away the past ones, if they do each patch as a separate one
I dont get it seems like again like madden they are focused on the online stuff more,
Even people on the 2K sub are saying 2K17 was basically a throwaway beta test for 2K18. That's ridicluous by 2K if they expect us to pay twice, once for an awful game (and an awful effort by 2K), and then once again for 2K18, then that's just plain disregard.
It's not like we got 2K17 for free or we're going to get 2K18 for free. This is disrespect to consumers.
I'm just waiting for another 2K gameplay patch. Please improve the gameplay, even just slightly. If 2K can't, then that's just offensive.
I tested Play Now Online to try out the matchmaking as a Tier 5 team with toggled to search for any tier and still sat there waiting for 20 minutes with no match found.
