Pretty nice DLC list, however IMO, it's just not worth a penny given the state of the game itself. That's a shame.

For a game that released, far short of the quality benchmark that it's price point dictated... more patches, more options, less paid DLC would be nice.

DMi leaked that the digital version will be $29.99 on the PS Store for the big Black Friday sale. Not bad, but I still don't know if I could recommend it at that price since I haven't touched the game for months. However, I may play again this week as the big (*spoiler-free*) win got me amped for some NASCARin'.

Has anyone checked out any of the DLC spotter audio? Is it better than the default or is it the same canned responses ("Up High," "Still There," ad nauseum)?

It's presently on sale on the XB store too under the deals with gold section. I can't see the price since I own it already.

But yes, for anyone on the fence for $30 it's a good get in my opinion. Especially if you're ok with a pretty basic game, that delivers an... Ok experience.

Turbo, I do have one of the spotter packs. I had to. I couldn't take the default one. The lines are pretty much the same, but it does sound a bit better, more natural.

I also noticed I had a Microsoft credit of $10 on my account that was about to expire on Jan 1. So I used it to pick up one of the bundles on sale on the XB store. Including a bunch of schemes and the Rick allen spotter pack.

As I said previously, they've done a really good job providing DLC all things considered. There's no shortage of paint schemes if you were to buy them all.

I picked up all of the spotter audio DLC (along with this month's free DLC), it was either that or disable spotter audio entirely. Unfortunately it's the same 15 or so phrases for every spotter, we're talking Joe Montana Sports Talk Football levels of audio immersion here.
