Way to go EA. Another daam money grab. It took 6 months for me to get my cm really good in 16 so why would I mess with 17. I had given up on madden after about 8 years before madden16 so I guess i will wait another 8 for 24. For what it is worth I also was buying hockey, golf,NBA before madden made me pixxed.

EA patches it in every year with their typical bait and switch. They must believe every year that Robo is a feature we want.

Thanks EA for not addressing the bigger needs and patching/updating a mode I can careless about.

The bigger needs take longer to address, don't you agree?

It was a quick fix not for the OS crowd, but others outside of OS care for.

I'm sure they will be more in store for us in the near future.

FRIGGING UNBELIEVABLE... And still no fix for the wind.. It is becoming more and more obvious, EA's only concern is about ONLINE. They advertise the game as the biggest FRANCHISE MODE in years and then do absolutely nothing about fixing it. Guess they don't need to, Already got your money. Pathetic.

CC, I told you a few days ago, Clint said the wind would be fixed at some point. He didn't say soon, but at some point.

That could be a patch or two down the road.

The bigger fixes take more time than these quick little updates do.

Hakuna matada folks.

That didn't answer my question at all though

So basically EA should only cater to what I personally want and just forget about any other group of paying customer? [emoji848] interesting take.

Online crowd wants their stick skills to dictate the outcome, not ratings.

Imagine if a Packers or Patriots users threw a ball with Brady or Rodgers and it wasn't completely on the mark, even though a receiver was wide open. The online crowd would lose their minds.

Obviously those two QBs are extreme cases, but I've played against a friend of mine who said the game was garbage based on the fact that Tyrod Taylor threw a pass off the mark that sailed out of bounds.

Most people who play online, especially in a tournament setting, refuses to accept the fact that balls are sometimes off the mark frequently during an NFL game. They want no part of that.

If the sliders worked how they should, offline guys wouldn't have this issue.

Madden team is a joke. No fix for punt issues which they've known about since release. A dangggggg joke

Their market research must conclude that the majority of fans want Robo QB. They have patched it back in nearly every year. My guess is that the online crowd wants their QB to hit the wide open wide receiver when they identify the receiver and press the button not have variables interfere with their stick skills.

Most online games really come down to win at all costs. I understand that, it's human nature. Most wouldn't want grenades to randomly go off target and then get shot.

I want EA to cater to everyone, make everyone happy. It should be possible with sliders. My major complaint is I did the research, saw that fumbles, inaccurate throws, and missed field goals were prevalent in 2017. They were there out of the box and now they are not. I can uninstall the patch but then CFM upgrades, etc. won't be there.

We are talking about two different things.

Robo CPU is a known thing to be the CPU QB always finding the open guy and never missing a pass. This usually on All Madden difficulty.

So if we are talking about user QB accuracy that's totally different.

I can't imagine any online players wanting Robo QB.

That's not Robo QB. Robo QB is a CPU QB thing on All Madden usually.

True. I was just speaking on overall QB accuracy.

I think they are tied together. I could be wrong, but clearly almost every pass by the AI is on someone's hands unless its thrown away. I think that has to do with global accuracy for the online games where the people want their passes to be on target always.

That could be true. I'm not sure how it all works when they tune user stuff.

Exactly. The Madden team can't be that incompetent that they keep patching Robo QB in every year unintentionally. It has to be intentional. I'm not trying to say they should just cater to what I want and forget about all other player groups. Honestly I wouldn't care if Robo QB was in the game with the default QB accuracy setting as long as they made it fixable and adjustable with the QB accuracy slider to the point where we could make it more realistic like it was pre patch. The way it is now its pretty much forced on everyone in all player groups for the most part.

I understand Roadman, but I can’t think of another product on the market that if defective, you are told we will fix it at some point. Only video game companies can get away with this. If you bought a TV, a tire, a computer, any other product at all, even a meal that was defective, it would be fixed immediately or I would receive a full refund. I purchased a product 3 months ago simply because it offered a feature that I wanted. That feature partly works, but the part of that feature that is broke takes the complete joy out of my game. Instead of enjoying it, it only frustrates me. I can't return it for a full refund, best case scenario is to sell it or trade it in and lose money on it.

Now I am out of sixty dollars, Work a round’s don't work for me. And what are my options after 3 months. OH, DON"T WORRY, WE WILL FIX THAT SOMEDAY, Well, When is someday. Next week, next month, next year? Madden 18?. No communication at all from EA about the issue. And I don't want to hear it's only a video game, I don't care if it's a tube of glue for 59 cents, if it doesn’t do what it is supposed to do. THEN FIX IT, replace it, or give me a full refund and my money back. If it said on the box, PURCHASE AT YOUR OWN RISK, SOME FEATURES DO NOT Work as advertised, I DON'T THINK I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT IT. I realize that video games will never reflect real life, I understand that there are many issues that need fixed or adjusted like the running game, but this issue is a game changer. It can’t be adjusted; it affects the outcome of games, and completely changes the strategy of the game in the style I play and for many others.

If MLB the Show, on every three and two count in franchise, you knew the batter is going to strike out and there is nothing you can do about it, wouldn’t be a very fun or entertaining game would it. But yet they took time to fix the color of the bats and made sure it was pretty for the on-liners. That wouldn't do much for franchise players except make them angry. Three months is long enough to fix any issue, Not asking them to rebuild the entire game, Just turn off the wind, Who needs it. Don't have this problem in M16, even with the wind.

So if someone from EA wants to give me a full refund then I will keep my mouth shut, But until then or this broken part is fixed, I am going to keep stating my opinion. I am tired of being ripped off and yes as far as I am concerned, that is exactly how I feel.
