I want to know if it will support upgraded resolution, framerate, or graphical fidelity for the PS4 Pro since it will have well over twice the power of the OG Playstation. Definitely help decide what console I should get it for. I would quickly abandon my xbox friends for an upgraded version of the game on the PS Pro lol.

Is it possible only on PS4 Pro , or regular PS4 as well?

The problem with current HDR 4K TVs (I'm looking to invest in one with in a year or two) is that it significantly increases your input lag. Now if you put your tv to game mode it turns of HDR. They really need to make a HDR game mode setting. I'm hoping next year batch of TVs address this

Do you need a HDMI 2.0 Cable in order for HDR to work?

Or is that just for 4K HDR?

I thought 2.0 was just for 4k viewing though and HDR was more of a TV feature I could be wrong though.

That's correct, but what people are clamoring for they might want to reconsider. HDR increases latency depended upon the type of TV. Yes it will be vibrant but your timing may be off. I have a 4k tv and I plan to purchase the PS4 pro, the beauty of that is now the DS4 info can be transmitted via USB cable reducing latency.

This is great news that 2k is bringing HDR to NBA2k17. The best 4k HDR tv so far is that Samsung KS8000. It's the tv I recently bought. In game mode it's 20ms input lag and in game mode with HDR it's only 22ms. That's by far the lowest input lag on any tv with HDR right now. All the other brands and TVs are doubling on input lag making it unplayable..

I just bought a KS8000 last week and I agree I really cant tell a difference between HDR mode and Game Mode as far as input lag goes. Its a really good TV and affordable for what it offers.
