Yeah I think the reason is because just won the Gold Medal with Brazil and played a big part in it.

I was reading about how the ratings are calculated and they take into account international reputation and other things, that's the only logical way I can understand it.

Yeah, I'd put Suarez ahead of him, too. 3 of the top 4 are with Barca. That team is so scary.

Barcelona is licensed by PES (Konami), Real Madrid is licensed by FIFA (EA). Nothing else to see here! Haha

Messi didn't win a tourney this summer either. Ronaldo did. I'm sure that had a something to do with it too.

That's right, I just thought of that. Real Madrid and Portugal won big Championships, while Messi's teams came up just short in Barca and Argentina's competitions.

Honestly, it's just splitting hairs when talking about anyone over 90 in general. I'd have rated them both 99, but that's just me. Haha

Well...he didn't have a whole lot to do with Portugal winning, even BEFORE the injury, but I understand what you guys are getting at. Lol! I'd still take Messi if given the choice.

I mean, Portugal doesn't win that tournament without Ronaldo
