They seemed to have put a lot of emphasis on off ball controls for defense. Great to see because it was incredibly difficult to stop backdoor cuts.
Nice to see fronting the post and pulling the chair out too. Two things I was dying to use in 16 as a guard matched up frequently with bigs in park and proam.
Not much changed for offense. Surprising because 2k's MO has always been to at least change the passing every year for whatever reason.
Seems like offball is getting some more attention this year. Hopefully there are more animations as well, and more of a "fight" in general to keep your man from the basket. Was definitely too easy to escape your man every time he was denying you. I wonder if we can finally get off-ball fouls?
I hope this doesn't mean that we're forced to shoot hooks or fades depending on distance. I distinctly remember one key feature being that if you wanted to do something like shoot a 15-foot hook shot from the post with Kareem (which is something he did), you had that option.

Great to see that defensive side of things got a lot of attention...
I see steal listed on the Right Alanolg stick...am hoping the days of playing the passing lanes are adequately back again
On the offensive side i hope the euro steps and spin layups are Not gonna be too OP and have reasonable defensive responses....
Hopefully dribble heads can be separated from the casual ballers. Knowing the community these days you tubers will leak out how to videos, but it shouldn't be that way. What happened to the days of layered gaming where it took skill to be great, not some youtuber showing how to do all the moves?
Side note...I Love that the euro step is now double tap shoot. Remind do me of 2k11.
Seeing off ball defense is getting a lot attention. Hopefully this fix the dreadful PnR defense in 2k16. Please 2k gods let them fix the AI teammates in MC. They are so dumb in 2k16.
