His fingernail on his index finger is not quite manicured as accurately as in real life. His middle finger is one cm off

Agree 100%, this stuff was really impressive coming from PS3->PS4 but by now the differences are so minute that it doesn't really leave an impression. It looks great, but I kind of expect games to look great these days.

If I was marketing the game I would just be releasing random game footage and letting people swoon over it over the next month.

The one in the 2k shot is exactly like this one just opposite hand

This is where improved graphics become a problem. When 2k14 came out most people were just ecstatic about how realistic the graphics looked because it was such a big leap from last console generation. But now all the other imperfections are more noticeable and anything that is off, even slightly off, will be pointed out. And when some aspects look nearly perfect, Kyrie face, people are going to question why other things look of, if body size/shape

I'd still take 2K17 Kyrie over 2K16. Kyries face is better and he looks more realistic in the 17 screenshot. But to each his own.

Why wont they show full body shots?

Lighting looks great.

Looks like we're gonna go around again with the Olympic squad though. Anyone else curious if those guys in particular look a bit better than the rest due to the more recent scans? Who knows.... just be nice to see someone we haven't yet.

New Tissot shot clock.

It's all a tease man. They give us these just to give us a little peak and so that we can discuss all the little things we notice.

It also makes us all that more anxious and impatient for footage.
It always reminds me of an eddie murphy joke [https://youtu.be/NNzPEcDOVeI]
Basically 2k is "starving" us and these screenshots are just glimpses of what's on the menu. And people are sitting here salivating like "I'm hungry i want to eat!". And then by the time they release that first video and we finally get to "eat" people are going to be losing there mind like it was the greatest thing they ever had...or saw.

Watch the video because it's hilarious, way more inappropriate than I'm allowed to discuss here, but quite applicable to 2Ks marketing strategy. You can also think of 2k as a woman. It'll make sense of you watch the clip.

I think it's an early build pic. You can see where the right hand meets his forearm. They probably are trying to show off the face and lightning more than anything. I have a sneaky suspicion that 2k will have all the players thinned out when game is officially released. I could be completely wrong idk

If you look at the 2k16 screenshot of Kyrie that lagoa posted you will notice that Lebron and whoever else is in the background have different sized legs so it's more a matter of what body model was used, which is touched on in this thread (there is a gif of the 7 different body types in 2k).

This is where a differ from some people on this site. How can you flat out call the art team lazy when you have no idea the amount of work they actually put into the game? It's easy to look at two comparison shots and point out what is noticeably changed and what's not but how can you judge the amount of time and effort put into the work? Especially just based on a couple screenshots.

As far as I know none of us actually work on this game so who knows what goes on behind the scenes. Maybe things that we perceive as easy fixes aren't so easy. Maybe they are given a specific list of things to work on and don't get to touch on everything they want. Maybe certain aspect just become too time consuming and it takes away from other areas that need work. Or maybe they are actually lazy and do minimal work year after year. Who knows. I just don't think it's fair to judge from afar because we can pinpoint inaccuracies and label the mistakes made.

Lighting looks on point this year. Body sizes are what they are at this point. We know what we're getting, and 2K definitely hears the complaints.

No better time to be here than when they start releasing screenshots before the game comes out.

# 74 mcpats @ 08/16/16 06:34 PM
Is it me or does Kyrie look excited in that screenshot?

# 75 CavsFanSteve @ 08/16/16 06:56 PM
I'm just getting a little TO'd...I mean we haven't gotten full body shots yet.

# 76 eko718 @ 08/16/16 07:11 PM
Looking good. Some clear improvements.

I think theres a market for a NBA diet and nutrition game...

# 78 Big Bankhead @ 08/16/16 07:42 PM
We are literally 1 month away from release and no gameplay yet? That's what I need to see but I will admit that the screens look nice

# 79 LM1213 @ 08/16/16 07:43 PM
hands look very detailed.

# 80 hesko @ 08/16/16 07:58 PM
