Does the NBA not allow 2K to include Nike accessories?
I know they still have the Adidas contract but isn't Olympic basketball a separate entity?
See how high up Kyrie's shorts are in that first pic where he's defending?..... 2K - this should be easy. Possibly not very important to them but personally really affects the look of the player model.

Just be nice is all...
Well in the screenshot the players that are crouching like Derozan and Jordan seem to have their shorts come up past their knees.
I really wish someone would recognize that NBA players waist sizes are not like a size 44.
It's a good chance they were 32 or 34 in jeans... they're just too wide
I like this one much better than the unfinished of course, but some of my main issues are still there with the bodies, and I don't get why it has to be that way.
Looks pretty good. I have to say though, they're definitely improving with scanning as the years go by. Comparing the scans now to scans done just a couple years ago for NBA 2k15 and you see a major difference. Last year was the first time they did body scans for some guys and while it helped it still showed it wasn't up to par. For example, Draymond Green last year had nearly perfect arm size but his chest and legs weren't close to accurate. Not only does the new scan correct those but his face and skintone has improved drastically as well. Same goes for Klay.
Those 2 along with Kyrie are now some of the best models in the game on par with LeBron, and for the 1st time ever, we look to have what appears to be a 100% accurate Melo (outside of his thick headbands). This is the best Melo in game since NBA Live 10.
On the flipside, you still see scans that need to be updated and while they look like the player, they could be so much better with the new tech (Boogie and Jimmy Butler). Then there's STILL guys they haven't scanned like DeAndre.

Not only that man, the uniforms are smaller
Players chests in the game are all large for some reason, but in real life they are skinny guys, not that huge.
The USA makes the issue stand out even more to me because of the thin design of the jersey.
Everybody in 2k is swole up lol. It's hard to explain but I could easily do a photoshop graphic man because the proportions are crazy looking in screens.
Big heads, wide bodies, more so bloated like, and uniforms that are overly huge. Like man why are the shorts stuck like
I'am not a shoe guy at all and I have no idea if they look close to their real life counter parts but they look great and very detailed.
Those Lebron soldiers look fantastic
In 2k16, when they wore low tops, you couldn't fully see the stance stripes like this in the triangle shape
but hopefully that has changed. seemed like a problem with the leg not being long enough, basically just morphed into a cankle at that point.
Also the Jordan's no Melo bend like elf shoes.
Not just the toe part, but the back of the shoe bends in 2k all the time like that when it shouldn't, so the shoe models look funky when players legs are at angles
They didn't face scan deandre jordan, looks like the same player model from 2k16. His fro is much bigger now. Jimmy Butler, Demarcus Cousins's, Demar DeRozan & Kyle Lowry models looks the same as well. Thibdeau, greg pop and Jim boheim are also team USA coaches, why aren't they in the pic? The socks look like stockings and have no texture, shoestrings are big as hell and probably wont move when the players run, accessories have no branding just like all the previous 2k games. It also looks like body types and definition is a another thing that was neglected in this game again. sure, the gameplay is more important but if a video game doesnt look right, especially something that imitates life like this one, the experience can be hindered significantly imo. I know It seems like I'm nitpicking but these are oversights they've had since 2k14. The folks over at 2k can just come across as flat out lazy. (when it comes to details)
