Call me Biased but I'm surprised that Atkins was 2nd and not Cox. Nevertheless him Logan, Curry, Graham, and Barwin form a scary d-line.

I'm super happy with Anthony Barr, but man Aaron Donald wouldn't have been a bad pick either.

No Cam Heyward Huh? should Atleast be # 6

Since higher THA deep is scaled to the lower end of last years ratings, the same falls true for the others.. So these 95 etc are same as last years lower ratings scaled wise, right?

This makes me happy to see haha. I expected it, but still.

Was a little disappointed at first that Brandon Williams didn't make the top 5 but these guys are complete monsters whose speed and acceleration make them a lot more dangerous in passing situations. Maximum interior pressure on every single down. A nose tackle just can't compete with these guys in today's pass first league.

Wouldn't Cam Heyward be listed at defensive end? I assume the Steelers are still a 3-4 front base defense and I don't think Heyward plays nose tackle. Please correct me if I'm wrong, though.

Ndamukong Suh at 93 relative to Donald's 98 is... surprising. I don't necessarily disagree? But it's an eye opener to me.

Suh but no McCoy?

I am hoping we get a video seeing how these guys play on the field on all-pro or all-madden

Surprised to see the drop off from Donald, down to Suh at #3. Donald is great, no doubt. Just a bit surprised to see that drop off. I guess EA also bought into the hype that Suh had a "down year" last year. Or maybe it's just their way of "separation" between the top end and the other guys. I hate these 5 player teases! lol

As someone else just said, I also would love to see a video of these guys in action. Not trailer type stuff, but actual gameplay. These are 5 guys capable of taking over a game from the inside of the DL. They should be able to do that in Madden, not get paddy caked out of the way by the OL. Really hope that translates this year as they've said it will.

The screens... look awesome too. That's nothing new though for Madden.

Quick question on how Nose Tackles will be rated. For example, Linval Joseph may have been the best player on a pretty darn good Minnesota defense last year from the push, pressure, and gap coverage he gave. It obviously doesn't show up in the stats, but he had a fantastic year last year when he was healthy.

Don't the vikes run a 4-3 thus have no nose tackle?

So McCoy and Linval were next two in line for the top 5. I'm good with that.

Agreed here. Pretty solid ranking/order there.

Can't wait for the full ratings release, love to see how these "elite" guys compare to the second tier, and then depth guys/backups.
