EA Sports has continued revealing their Madden NFL 17 player ratings today, as they announce the top 10 offensive linemen in the game. More detailed ratings can be seen in the official blog.

Yanda is looking good as always. I'm just hoping the zone run game is more realistic and fun so that running behind him actually means something.

Not gonna lie Terron Armstead surprised me. I know he's good but I'm not sure about 92 overall good.

I hope that when I play against teams with top lines in CFM l have to work hard to contain the running game instead of being able to keep two safeties high most of the time.

Have to think OVR for Olinemen are jacked up because there are fewer ratings that go into the equation. Seems weird to think that the OVR formula produces any Olinemen "more valuable" or more complete than the game's top QB, RB or WR but I guess u can't do much else when there are only two or three main ratings directly tied to blocking.

What does that even mean. OVRs are relative to players in their position group. Like saying there can't be high 90s kickers just because that would make them "compete in value" with QBs. A kicker's not getting $20M+ no matter how high his OVR is. Decrying the "jacked up" ratings of offensive linemen is the actual weird thing.

I still don't fully understand how Impact Blocking works.

Does it only kick in on open-field blocks? What EXACTLY classifies as an open-field block?

Correct, it is only for open field blocks or blocks that are not right after the ball is snapped.

It will be interesting to review entire team ratings. Dallas should be very powerful on offense with that OL, RB and Recievers but their defense better suck.

Armstead is legit bro. Probably the most athletic o-lineman in today's game.

Really last year the defense "sucked" primarily because the offense was so hamstrung. Defense kept a lot of those games tight.
