Yes indeed you did.

I think his long in college is only 50 some yards. His accuracy is deadly IRL, so his rating makes sense. If kicking has changed, his Accuracy might be deadly!

Unless they took that out this year
Still in the game, but only affects Franchise, as was the case in prior years.

The OVR ratings listed here are what you will see in Play Now and Online Head-To-Head, and I'm going to venture to guess MUT / Draft Champions / Salary Cap Ranked ratings will be completely different, again similar to previous years.

What I meant was that I like having the ability to kick 58+ yarders, 92 kpw doesn't grant that opportunity unless it's wind aided.

I'm lost. Do you think he should be rated based on how long he can actually kick the ball or based on what you personally prefer your kickers in madden to be rated?

so are you saying that overall is not that important, and i you are then what attributes should we be looking at to see if the players are good enough to start?

Reading the piece about Goff and Wentz, Goff is definitely the QB for me in CFM. As far as pro football goes, I'm old school and like my QB's to be pocket passers, so his higher passer ratings play into my wheelhouse.

Aguayo is not deadly accurate from the 30 or more, so IMO his accuracy will never be right in Madden because it doesn't fluctuate based on distance enough.

Also, happy to see everyone on my jags bandwagon for Madden this year BUT WHERE IS JALEN'S SLEEVE? Lol I'm uppin my nose a bit though because ppl will be playing just for ratings and not loyalty but eh, I guess.

:Side Note: How can Ramsey and Jack suffer the same injury and Ramsey got injured later yet he's rated that much higher. Madden is always funny like that.

I'd really love to read an in-depth blog regarding ratings and the new spread out, newly weighted system.
Please make this happen!

Kind of surprised that Wentz has a rating that high when his own organisation sees him as a project player.

I'm assuming with the way players are rated there isn't really a good way to show whether someone is a project or not.

Glad to see that development can change this year, super frustrating last year having all the development stay the same and never get updated in roster updates.

I'm hoping Bortles, Hurns, Robinson and Smith all have at least Quick from the start given the massive jumps they have taken.

Don't think he's a "project player" and they seem to believe that he is much further along that they thought when they drafted him. With that said, he will probably not even dress for most of this season unless an injury changes that.

Since when do ratings matter in Madden?

A while now.

now that we can edit rosters i think he will be a fun qb project to groom in franchise mode. i wonder what passing ratings they gave him - probably like low 70s or so

Yeah good question

He's a 71 overall, so I dunno what his throwing accuracies would be weighted with his athletic attributes and awareness to combine to reach that rating.

Does he have a pretty strong arm? I really didn't watch OSU that much

Wonder what Artie Burns and Sean Davis ratings will be.

I'm not sure if these were posted yet. I saw the tweets on the sidebar of espn.

Nice and Low! Looks like they really differentiated top picks and mid and lower round guys.

So reading that ESPN article it looks like Paxton lynch should fall in the 74-76 range since the UCLA defensive tackle was the lowest at 73 and the other 2 qbs came in at 77.

I wonder what booker comes in at since some had him as one of the top backs coming in but injury seemed to be a cause for him sliding.

But I like the look of the ratings do far. Wished for a slightly more spread out system but if they play well on the field and players feel different than it will be fine.
