Cool yeah I saw the equipment revamp video and it looked a bit better. I was hoping for something more along the lines like the link below.
Another thought that would make Madden a bit more realistic is how players line up on defense and on the field. Everyone looks to still be in the same exact pose.
Not sure if you play NBA 2k16 but they did a wonderful job at creating off ball animations like players walking around to their spots on the floor etc. It just makes it feel more organic.
I saw a post that they added like 900+ scripting animations so it will be nice to see how they are integrated in the final game. I have not seen much from what has been shown thus far.
Agreed. I can't tell the difference between 16 and 17.
I can see the polish, and the equipment upgrade is huge. Everyone has their panties in a bunch about better running/jukes/stiff-arms, but IMO they are just bringing back the better running system that was in 15 that was nerfed in 16. With that said, it's still a huge improvement in my opinion, because running was really good in 15, we got better passing in 16, now we have those things, better AI on defense (the jury is not out on this), and better special teams. I'm guessing that the talk upon release will primarily be about AI and the line of scrimmage, for better or worse.

I don't even notice equipment so maybe that's where we're different. I'm saying if someone put up unlabled 16 and 17 videos next to each other, I seriously doubt anyone would be able to tell the difference (sans new equipment).

The new equipment is definitely noticed and appreciated by me, but from a gameplay standpoint I don't notice much difference. I'm sure playing the game is a totally different story, but from the very controlled footage released so far, I don't see much difference.

I would still disagree because I couldn't juke anyone last year.
Granted, this is a labeled video, but I like how Sim points this stuff out.
It's like Groundhog Day, the movie around here. The first person to respond to the OP should just type "My usual response" and every person to follow should just quote that. The Username will tell us the rest.

Not a Madden fan,
but I have to say that this years title looks amazing.
Hopefully, they addressed penalties in the game. I see plenty of instances in this new title, where you could a get more organic/in the flow of the game type of penalties, instead of having to nerf the penalty sliders up or down.
As a 2k guy at heart and been playing Madden for the last several years, last years Madden was the best one.
If they can somehow master the environment and truly make me feel "it" I'll be happy. Hopefully the new announcing team, sounds and updates to franchise will finally make me forget about the "good ol days."
One thing that they can't seem to import that I loved from All Pro 2k is the QB animations.
I'd like to see those touched more next year.
Looking forward to giving this year's game a go....

I agree the little bounce step thing the qbs do at the end of their motion is annoying.
I don't think a single QB in the league does that.
LMFAO , i don't think he want move on to ps4 for now. i guess he stay with ps3 for awhile. i guess ps3 version won't have new features like score ticker around league, big decision in CFM. Eww, graphic is very disgusting in Madden 16 on ps3 version when i played it at Gamestop. Anyway, this trailer is awesome ever i seen.
Madden 16 had a lot on ps3 ex for Graphics
Nba 2k is where the biggest diff is
i want a ps4 but i explain why i cant get one up top
So wait, for what we've gotten the past 8-10 years, and now that we have practice squads, full editing of players, full GM mode back, live ticker, and a new commentary team, you're LESS hyped??
Forgive me for being thoroughly confused.
Not only that but madden 16 was like the first good madden in like 10 years. It was the first madden that didn't suck in 10 years and was like the biggest single year improvement in sports video history.
