Will they update after one of them gets fired?

Yes. EA FIFA producer confirmed it.

Klopp on the sideline should be good fun.

Anyone else thinks that the Frostbite-Faces look a bit "waxy" like the puppets at Madame Tussauds? ^^

Having the BPL managers in the game is great, IF there's some real substance behind it, namely real life tendencies/tactics(that actually make a difference in game), stories built around hirings/firings, things like that. If not, and career mode remains as dull, lifeless, and vanilla as always, I don't see the point.

What about other leagues? La Liga? Bundesliga?

Relegated teams managers would be nice with Villas Di Matteo and Magpies Benitez

I usually play a BPL season at some point, so obviously this will be cool in that regard, but it seems like it will be a bit jarring if you're playing as a BPL team against a team from another league, and only 1 manager is shown. Are they putting in generics for the other leagues?

or this?

Personally, I don't really care if there are authentic managers on the sidelines - especially if it's only in the BPL and all other teams have generic managers. However, I'm hopeful that this means that we have more options when it comes to creating our manager for CM (outside of skin color, build and 3 clothing options)! But I'm not gonna get my hopes up...

I wonder how that will work. Would be interesting to know in career mode what happens when one is fired? Hopefully they pop up on another sideline. I also wonder what happens with the manager who manages the team you take over. Like when I start my Chelsea career where will Conte go? Probably into thin air.

It would be funny to see Arsene Wenger on the sideline friggin with the zipper on his coat.

Even though he's not a premier league manager, I'd love to see Joachim Low included in the game. They could mo-cap him doing things like picking his nose or sniffing his hand after sticking it down his pants. Unparalleled realism.

I'm not really sure why this is a 'feature'?

Like, I don't get super excited playing MLBTS when I see Girardi in the dugout before game. I mean, sure it's neat--but it doesn't ADD anything to the game IMO.

I don't care about SEEING the managers. I want to see DIFFERENT TACTICS; and--tactics that actually work, for that matter...

It's not a feature, just another way to add authenticity to the game.

But yes, I'm in the camp that to be really authentic, they need to have their tactics and the ability to take those with them when 30% of them get sacked, lol.

Yeah, I'm in the same camp.

For me as a player, and I guess I'm in the minority by a long shot b/c they don't seem to design games for my style of play anymore, I need the EA designers to ask themselves "what's the game going to look and play like after ten seasons of manager mode?" Because after ten years as a manager those few real managers are going to be all over the globe, my team is going to be filled with cpu generated players and half of them are going to look generic and possibly identical - and possibly quite silly, and they're going to play quite silly with awkward work rates etc., and if I'm the national program coach from a small country - they're likely to all have the same name.

So I appreciate anything that is added, I do, but if they would just OPEN UP THE GAME FOR EDITING in offline manager and career modes I, and many others, could do the tinkering we need to achieve offline customization and bliss. Honestly. Just open it up so I can change some names, tweak a few stats, and alter a few looks... and I could run my manager mode for fifty seasons and keep it interesting.

And I'd still buy the game each year as well - don't worry about that EA. I buy the games each year even when I don't love the games, why would I stop buying it when I do love it?
