So the footage in the beginning will probably be the trailer we are getting today

Yeah I'm going to guess that as well. I liked that small bit of commentary they played.

they frequently have trailers/videos like that to hype up the game where they have added custom commentary to suit it. look no further then last years game intro scenario with antonio brown. it had special commentary just for that. so i wouldn't get your hopes up.

Can anyone tell if dez has Jordan's in that clip? I can't even get a good pause in!

Update: I think dez is wearing Jordan cleats

In one of the podcast interviews, the broadcast team did emphasize they went through and added tons of individual commentary relative to players. So, a guy like T.J. Ward may have a line like that. They may surprise us.

I 100% expect and believe the in game commentary will sound like that.

i could see 'big hit by TJ ward' or something like that. but literally 'blocked field goal what an amazing play and the broncos are going to the playoffs!' ? doesnt seem believable to me . hope im wrong though

You don't know what is going to be in retail. No need to make comments like this just to get people down.

I really hope so. If that was actual in-game commentary that we could get in franchise mode, I am 100% sold on this game without even hearing the other CFM news.

just to get people down? where exactly did you get that motive from? cause thats certainly not what mine was. im speculating about the video like everyone else man. you don't know whats going to be in the retail either.

It would be sweet if the regular commentary was as dynamic as the ward blocking the kick to send the Broncos to the playoffs, but I'm in the boat that thinks it is for the intro gameplay video, like we've gotten the past 2 years. Specifically, Like the Roethlisberger and Brown one last year.

Maybe they stitched "TJ Ward blocked field goal" & "broncos going to the playffs" lines together ? Like they were recorded separately, but in that situation they stitched it together to make it sound specific. I could be totally wrong

I've already commented twice about the commentary - so I'll try and make this the last I'll time I talk about it. but they've been doing this on Madden videos/trailers for years. I really do believe the commentary this year will be much better then years past but I don't think the little bit we heard on the video is anything to get particularly excited about. again, I hope I'm wrong though.

remember how good they made the generic radio announcer sound?

I think it's too early to comment on anything one way or the other until more visual and audio info drops this week.

They actually showed the cpu blocking a kick ! And the commentary sounds awesome!

# 18 Gilley @ 06/12/16 04:06 PM
Man oh man that commentary...

That's pretty much a target render/scenario for new consoles though. Doesn't mean much. Think people wouldn't have a problem with your line of thinking if it wasn't so definitive, we don't know how well things will be stitched together and with only a few dedicated blocking positions per team on special teams it's not inconceivable for the TJ Ward line to be in for one of the more popular teams.

I'm not expecting it, but it remains to be seen.
