EA Sports UFC 2 News Post


EA Sports UFC 2 patch 1.06 and content update #3 is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One fans, weighing in at just over 1 GB. The update adds 3 new fighters, Cris Cyborg (Women's Bantamweight), Valentina Shevchenko (Women's Bantamweight) and Albert Tumenov (Welterweight).

Below are the gameplay updates in patch 1.06.
  • Added a third transition for submissive fighter in Back Sitting.
  • Block will not come back up automatically after a missed parry, or a timed out parry.
  • Liver Health Event allows high or low blocking.
  • Addressed issue where spamming transition fakes on the ground would regain stamina.
  • Addressed double stamina tax when opponent sprawls on user's takedown.
  • Addressed an issue where takedown denial stamina penalty was being applied when the user is struck out of a takedown.
  • General AI Improvements.
  • General Referee Improvements.

ok I just finshed playing my first game with Nate Diaz and his new shorts...

AMAZING! Doing a Stockton slap and sporting tight shorts is fun fun. lol

But sad part is i did get knocked out in the second round trying a stocking slap over and over while taunting...

From what I just played in event picks winning by first round ko as I selected
I noticed an immediate intensity especially as juraih hall v Silva,I nearly had Silva and he went nuts but I still beat him but like how the game played out which is all we can ask for

Good job so far with this
I really love the skill requires to master these ufc games as not being big headed I know how to do everything even since the new input update for the latest edition in the games series

I did just notice though playing then the ai does deny lots with no stamina or endurance tax with no stamina or endurance tax ? But maybe it was because I was playing fight winner prediction in live event predictor lol

So still no fixes for all the BS people pull online? Still straight spamming for the combo multiplier? Still one punching people from back side? UT is still a delete fest. Can i still arm triangle from half guard top then let it go when there head is red and one punch them? That ones my fav.

Really would have liked to see the real issues addressed that are ruining this game. But meh see what happens next month i guess

I really hope that your team focus on fixing the stand up for the next patch.

GPD...

Holy Cow! You can get out of back sitting so fast now, and with a lil bit of latency it can be a lil hard to hold ppl. Maybe I just need more time. Also is the GA faster now in back sitting?

Only change to back sitting is the new transition.

Played against Rousey. She no longer tries to stand and bang. She goes for take downs and arm bars OFTEN. She even caught me with a flying arm bar in the 5th round. She FINALLY plays like her real life self.

Glad to see those tweaks are working. I saw the opposite with Joanna. She was determined to keep it standing.

Thats strange i fought with ronda using cyborg and he gass out quickly on the feet and i finish her 2 times in the 1 round(hard)

Yeah, AI is still easy. but fight logic looks good.
