MLB The Show 16 OSFM Roster V1 Available Now!!

Thanks to everyone who helped, going back to last year. Amazing team effort and I hope everyone enjoys them. Thanks as always to Knight for putting this thing together all these years. Thanks to all the face guys led by Willard, Motown, Drsublime, Teeds, and new addition Bigpoppawilly amongst others. Also thanks to WTNY for the work done last year on this set. Everyone involved did a great job.

We will update these reguarly and Willard and his guys will also release a Hybrid version so watch for that. Keep following me here and on twitter for info on updated versions.

hmmmm...obviously something is wrong. When you are at the step in franchise to upload the roster the SCEA stock roster is the one showing by default. You have to hit x which then allows you to choose other rosters. After hitting x it will give the option to go directly to the vault or system storage. Choose system storage and the OSFM roster that you already downloaded and saved.

If you did that and it isn't the right roster all I can think of is that you probably didn't save it correctly. Sorry not sure what else it could be bro.

Hey guys, just want to start by saying a huge thank you for all your hard work in creating V1. My question I am throwing out there is. After looking on the forum of all the corrections that were listed, are you guys going to come out with V2 soon. I read that there were duplicate players, players that were left out, etc. I wanted to start my franchise but I thought if V2 is going to be release soon, I would just hold off.
Just a question, please don't take offense. What you guys accomplish every year is incredible. Thank you

Bummed that none of my Mariner prospect CAPS made it in.

*Not trying to sound bitter. I can upload them if you guys would like them. I could even match up the attributes.

Like I said, not trying to sound bitter! Many of my caps are used in this roster. I will eventually end up doing that, but as a Mariners fan, just figured some other mariner fans might enjoy some of my Mariners prospect caps.

Great work on OSFM V1 but I have a question. I noticed just about all of the currently injured players in MLB right now are found in the free agents section. This means in order to add them back to the proper teams at some point you must control all 30 teams, correct? Would OSFM V1 typically be used in Franchise Mode with 30 team control?

Anyone noticing the top prospect icons disappear after spring training? Is there any way to prevent this?

This! I am also curious about this. I am having the same problem. Its not all the prospects, but most of them.

May just go through and do it myself, the wait for the first OSFM drop has already gotten me behind schedule (and the MLB's decision to release the game late March instead of early March)

I've used the rosters since 2010 and they get better every year. I have never had a problem until this year. I upload the rosters Ina new offline franchise and for whatever reason he computer says f it I don't care how your lineups and pitching rotation are set I am going to re order it. It takes the rotation and fills it out 1-5 in order of highest rated to lowest. Lineups get jumbled as well. I play as the Royals and shall the line ups have Cain leading off. He never leads off. Also I know it messes up with other teams as well. Has anyone else experienced his? Is there a workaround or am I just doing something wrong? I got frustrated last night and just told myself the update posted today will fix things but the game does the same thing on the weekly updated rosters from SCEA so I doubt that will fix it.

I know this sounds obvious but you have looked at the mode-specific franchise settings? They are all defaulted to auto this year when you first start a franchise for whatever reason, at least they were for me and it took me a bit to figure out.

Does anyone know when this updated version ridin was talking about will be released? In no way am I saying he should keep working. I am more than happy with the roster available, but if it was going to be soon I was going to hold of starting my chise a little longer.

Guys i will get this update out as soon as possible, late tonight or early tommorrow depending on real life needs lol.... Its well worth it, tons of corrections, new prospects, missing players, removed duplicate players etc
