The injuries for non playoff teams were wiped the night of the end of the season. There have been updates 3-6 days a week throughout the season but very few of the updates have their own thread. Most of the updates that haven't been posted on here include changes to accessories, rotations, injuries, and player movement

Can we get Terrance Ross contract updated ?

# 48 LO6IX @ 04/19/16 11:41 AM
Any updates to ratings and badges coming? Scola(corner specialist), Cory Joseph(pick dodger, tear dropper) , Terrence Ross(corner specialist, deadeye), and Patrick Patterson(defense ratings and hustle points) need them.

I think everyone is waiting for a final update to the ratings.

Can beds get this out of his pinned tweets?

I wasn't aware that 1 ratings update in over a month now was considered frequent. Half the players don't even play like themselves, like that Patterson and Scola example earlier ITT.

The most irritating thing is the lack of communication. He's clearly been in this thread and read everyone asking about if there even is a final roster rating update, but he'll ignore all of that to reassure us that accessories are being updated.

Good to know that the important things are being handled.

To clarify, the post says Roster Updates. Their have been 19 updates over the past 30 days but only one of them was made into a thread.

Since the massive April 1st update of nearly 400 players, less than two weeks of games were played and in many of which players were resting for the playoffs. Sample size is very important in putting out updates. There will likely be one for playoff teams after they get a few more games under their belt

Hey Beds, just wondering if there is a way you can make Dante Exum Shevlin Mack's backup in All-Star Teamup. I looked at the minutes distribution, Exum is in the 20s, but is neither Mack or Hood's backup.

Lets be real here, the most important thing in roster updates is by far accurate ratings. Going back to the Patterson/Scola example, how much of a sample size is needed before Patterson is made a better defender?

Even just thinking of two random players off the top of my head and looking up the ratings, Evan Turner is somehow rated as significantly worse on defense than James Harden. This is despite Evan Turner being an above average defender in real life and James Harden being a pylon. Was the entire season not a big enough sample size? Because Turner's defensive ratings haven't been touched once since the season started.

That's a fair explanation. Also, I want to say that I wasn't trying to come at you hard. In my mind (and I could be wrong), I thought the large ratings updates you do are not current per se. For example, I'm thinking the 4/1/2016 update is for games played through maybe 3/25/2016 (I'm picking a random date) to give you a week to review the data and update the ratings accordingly. So for me, I'm thinking there could be 2-3 (maybe 4 weeks) of game data that's not being account for.

However, I do understand not giving a role/bench players an artificial boost, because they got playing time that they normally don't get due to the team throwing in the towel or resting their starters. I was thinking more for teams that was still fighting for playoff spots and positioning. Although, getting a playoff rated Paul George, Monta Ellis, and Myles Turner would be super sweet!

Glad I'm not the one doing roster updates for 2k. Some of you will never be happy until there are daily updates on every single player, and even then there will be some calling them "lazy" for not doing hourly updates.

I think most of us understand how the rosters are done. Some of us just wanted to know will there be a "final" regular season roster for ratings (not rotations, not accessories, etc). The season was still in progress as of 4/1/2016, so that's why it's even a question about it in the first place. If there was a ratings update released on 4/14/2016, then this would be a moot discussion.

I don't care about frequent roster updates because i update them on my own. What i would like to see is appearance updates of NBA players at least 1 per month. For God sake it's 2016 we running consoles powerful almost as PC's and they say it's impossible. Tired of seeing and playing with CAP players just because they signed during season or they are rookies from some 'rare' colleges. #BS
