Madden NFL 16 Super Bowl Edition Available For $19.79, Includes 2,200 Madden Points

PlayStation 4 users can purchase the Super Bowl 50 Edition of Madden NFL 16 for $19.79, on the PlayStation Store, until February 9. It comes with 2,200 Madden points for Ultimate Team.

Xbox One users don't have the same sale, as of this post.

UPDATE: Gold members can get it now on Xbox One for $19.80.

For those of you that might have missed it, EA Access members (exclusive to Xbox One) can download Madden NFL 16 for free, in The Vault, with a subscription.

Well obviously, I just can't imagine wanting to keep playing the game after the season ends. $20 seems a little steep, but just my opinion.

Yes, it's a promotional bundle for the Super Bowl, similar to what they did last year.

I bought mines last night. I mean Why not lol $20 is better then spending $60 bucks for it. I say it's a pretty good deal.

Definitely, I picked it up today.

I dont mind paying 80$ (in Canada) for a yearly copy of NBA 2K (a much better game than Madden), but I refuse to pony up the same amount for Madden. 20$ is good value. Not only is it cheaper, but the biggest bugs in the game have been fixed by now, so it's a win-win.

Very happy I held off on buying it at release the past couple of years. If they improve franchise mode in the next game, maybe it'll be worth it's price tag at release.

This is my dilemma. Season is now over and I do not own M16. The price of $20 does not seem steep to me, but do I buy this game that's 7 months old already or just wait another 5 months for the new one??

Buy it. The game is very very good. When the new one drops it'll inevitably have some issues that need to be patched so really it'll be about 7 months or longer before it's ready.
