With walk on and ProAM in general you can't even see who you are going to play until you get locked into the game. No fun getting locked into a game and having the other team quit out before half time because they are getting smashed/knew they were gonna get smashed.

They just needed to add two squad spots to the courts and it would have been all sweet.

I still don't see how REC is better than either of the ProAm modes w/ rep. You can recruit from Park games or even the walk on games; you'll be playing w/ randoms anyways. You don't have to sit around waiting for games.

I understand it's your preference, but I honestly do not think any of those things warrants all the demand about REC besides adding rep. But to make everyone happy, they should just make walk on REC and add two squad spots like you said. And we'll still have Proam/Crew. But I think all those modes should have REP. You shouldn't be dominating in ProAm and then when you decide to play Park a rookie 1 looking like a bum and etc.

Sounds interesting on top but 2K isn't a skill game, heck even CoD isn't a skill game. Nice idea but before putting up big money into the game first make sure that game is skill related, i see often dudes in park cheesin' when we play for freaking VC and now imagine cheese frequency and strength when you gon play for real money.

The competition looks good for the esports league I went into pro am for the first time in almost two months we wrecked first 4 teams badly with our incomplete players we ended up with a 90% win percentage then ended up facing a strong #70 something ranked team and got spanked since we didn't have enough scoring or size to get the win. I know now that I need to play with my huge cheesy (he don't miss) center and everybody else needs to bring their best every game to compete against the best talent in the pro am.

Yep I faced a top 10 team and we went to 2OT. They won. They had 2 7'3 centers , two 6'2 PGs/SGs and 1 SF who looked about 6'6 . They played really well almost like the CPU on HOF. My squad just don't make the extra pass enough or take smart enough shots. They settle way to often . Probably why I'm hesitate to try this. We were a top 80 team at 1 point but we stopped playing . Every top 100 team we face comes down to OT

So, the stream still isn't working for me.

Sounds like a good idea. I actually was talking about this about a month ago when finding ways to make Pro-Am more competitive. I'm interested in seeing how this all works, though. My team is like 104-36 right now and was ranked #148, but lost 2 straight games due to lag/teammates disconnecting and back to like #250.

We've played some really good teams in Pro-Am, but most of the guys we play just don't seem to know how to play the game.

I need someone who can be a point guard in style to cp3 . Throw lobs when available , know when to score/pass etc...

Tired of playing with PGs who really should be shooting guards

That's why my squad wins so much tbh.

It just so happens my friend irl is our point and his favorite player is CP3. He'll get 20 assists in a game and score 0 points and be happy when everyone else is scoring. He'd rather have me score 50 than him score 10 lol.

Everyone wants to make guards, but they don't understand their role. And everyone looks for big men because they have teams of 3 guards already.

It's very easy to win once you get a good point and you're already a solid big so the two most important positions are filled. Dominant point + dominant big is the key to success if everyone else can shoot.

My friend who I used to play ball with plays in game like he does in real life since he enjoys setting people up, most of the park games we play he would have 0 points, 2 rebounds, 7 assists lol. In pro am he tries to go for 30 assists even after I told him to score one more time to get himself a double double when he had 8 points lol.

I play a defensive version of this style. I have a 6'9 PF that can guard the perimeter and the post. He is modeled after Dennis Rodman. I do all of the hustle work and my rebounding is maxed out.

I rather grab 20 rebounds than to score 20 points. Tough defense and hustle is my game.

Got a good record with my squad on xbox. We are 177-32. Still in search of someone to run the 3 position.

I'm currently 95ovr and grinding for those last few upgrades. I originally created a PF and grinding to 99 but realized that making him balanced was a fatal mistake so started again with an outside 6 foot PG. Plus I'm a pg at heart and love to pass.

I'm curious....why was making your pf balanced a fatal mistake? I too have a balanced 6'11 PF, he works great for me

I might get negative feedback from this but I don't like for guys to be too passive at point either lol . Even Steve Nash was a really great scorer

Played against your point guard in walk on a day or 2 ago.

Oh ok, I understand. You meant for offensive purposes. I focus more on defense and rebounding, my proam team has enough scorers. But I still find that his shooting and athletic attributes are competent enough for the open midrange and poster dunks off the pick and roll. Hate that you spent so much time on him and find him inadequate. I don't think you should give up on him.

Exactly as opposed to 2 shots force the opposing guard to play defense

Yea I could imagine it being frustrating if you needed to be a scorer. Thanks man, good luck to you too good sir.

How are they gonna determine who makes it? My team is in the top 200 right now but does that mean anything?
Do we have to enter with money?

How are they gonna counter lag? We were playing against a top 250 team and I got lagged out only time I've ever been lagged in game. I just don't understand why you can just rejoin a game you lagged out of especially considering the game is always online.
