It is hard to step out of bounds but I like it and 2k has this to a degree as well. Not an issue imo.

To be clear you can step out of bounds but game is forgiving in this area.

Played two games now and no uniform glitch! There are more hands on the balls and turnovers which is good but that also leads to a negative. The CPU lunges too much in half court defence leading to easy blow byes and layups. The mid range game is better. I did see a couple layup moves I hadn't seen before although I would call them travelling lol. I don't think the CPU is any tougher. 3 point shooting is about the same, maybe easier after the previous patch which made it tougher. The CPU doesn't shoot the three well on all Star imo.

I think defensive ratings may matter more now. It seems easier for dribble moves to beat bad defenders. Anyone else sees this? Offensive rebounding may be toned down as well.

They've been playing like that since day 1 to be fair.

Synergy seems to be working well. Played the Pacers who took a lot of mid range and three pointers. Then I play the Buck's and they barely shoot the three since they are so busy attacking the basket and feeding Monroe in the post.

Have the "this is why we play" boards always been there? It was cool seeing them...

It is not a deal breaker, however, since we are a nation of "options", would be nice if they can offer an option to turn it off for those that have this preference. I am guessing this is in the game for other reasons I won't go into right now.

So true. Same goes for roster edits, camera angle options, 5 point sliders, etc.

I am excited to get Porzingis in the next patch as I cant play with the Knicks with him looking like that.
They need to hook this guy up man. They finally fixed his height and he is now correctly listed as being 7'3 as opposed to 7'0. However, he doesn't even look that height due to the gigantic size of his head

Folks are using this to their advantage online....not as bad as Live '14 but the 'better cheesers' can run in place a long the baseline enough to get a clean look inside. I sent a vid of it to the devs, I don't think they got a lot of OH2H feedback beside fatigue/subs

I do agree it should be there to some degree though....

This right here is reason enough to make it an option that can be toggled on or off. Though I thought they mostly turned it off around the baseline by the basket. I could be wrong. Still favor an on/off option if possible.

Some guys do have giant bobble heads in this game. Barea on Dallas comes to mind.

Just fired up another game my Lakers vs Thunder and I can't tell you how happy I am with what they've done to this game. The midrange game is in full effect. The animations look so much better than at release. Since I got rid of my Xbox One and snagged the PS4 I'm not sure that I will be repurchasing 2K16. This game for me has become that improved. EA deserves some credit. And fellas this ain't no placebo effect.

So, it depends on what you want.
Thanks for the details but I'm more of a dynasty person....

That's cool.

I have a dynasty going on in 2K on PC...I enjoy Live for one off games.

If dynasty is your thing, Live 16 is really, really bad. There is no depth, terrible trade AI, very little management involved etc etc etc.

I have criticised synergy...but it sure as hell is actually working now. Teams definitely play differently. Big plays differently at last. Mid range teams olay accordingly.

Golden State and the Spurs are completely different games.

The gameplay really is legit after this patch now. I am going to say that this is a better version of LIVE than LIVE 10.

Post release I pretty much felt this series was done. The expected leap from 15 to 16 just was not there.

Now though.......this is what we hoped for. The foundation is absolutely there for LIVE 17 to be really good. They just need to fix the post game and get their dynasty / season modes up to other sports games next gen levels. They did not even touch dyansty between 15 and 16. The patches ignored it also.

The substitution roatation has been fixed finally! It was very welcome to see Richard Jefferson in the lineup today. Also good to observe Ish Smith seeing time with the Pelicans bench mob and some other teams I have noticed. This was an area of deficiency when looking at both games. May seem like a "small thing" but it makes a noticeable difference. They have really put in some solid work with this game!

One issue I seem to be seeing more often now on Superster level default sliders is players with low 3pt ratings taking 3pt shots. David Lee for example is rated at 29. Granted he was open but I don't expect him to take that shot in reality. At least step in and take a higher fg% shot. To be clear, this doesnt occur every time but is concerning. Hope this and a few similar issues are addressed.

I'm enjoying this game against the cpu myself. 2k16 only get played when I get an online invite from one of the guys. Live 17 may be a day 1 purchase for me which is a 1st.

Dynasty lacks depth but I'm enjoying it to be honest. The game is really enjoyable now
