Loose ball glitch is still in the game. Pass.

They couldn't touch up that Prem League winter ball a little bit???? Thing is embarrassing, and looks even worse during night matches...

I'm not sure why people get mad when it's pointed out that UT gets like 90% of the attention from EA post-release. OS is pretty much the only place where people even bring that up, lol.
I don't think myself or others get mad about this. I think we all wish career mode was better and that they spent more time on it, and theoretically they should be using a good portion of the money generated by fut to improve career mode. The fact that they aren't is their fault not the people who play fut. There's two or three of the same guys who consistently make ridiculous posts that are blatantly incorrect and directly insult the people who do play it. I have no problem, nor does anyone else on here in my opinion, when people like you respectfully state your opinion even if I happen to disagree with it.

The main thing not the same is paying EA anymore $$$ on top of the original price of $60 which the FUT players do en masses and it's why the devs care so much about that mode as all those micro transactions after initial purchase are just gravy to them as in the past it was only initial price but now they milk the FUT like crazy. Not just FIFA its every sports game now that has UT type mode where they have items, packs etc for extra micro transactions. So please don't try to make FUT and career/club players anywhere the same as that extra money is huge as see ads on these forums spamming coins it's gotten overboard

Best idea be a game called UT is released seperatly and include Fifa, madden, nba, nhl etc versions and it's only UT . Then have normal sports titles like before UT with main concentration on the actual gameplay, career mode, online, and clubs ..

Now about upgrade glad they did add something to gameplay which kinda is small addition to career mode as they go together. Not surprised first main points are about UT ugh ... But something better than nothing .
Was just making a subtle joke that even we BUY a game and get excited about a fake digital team in the same way that they do. Some of them just spend a little more.

But yes I do understand what you're saying and I do agree to a certain extent

I think the buying of licenses has become part of EA's blatant complacence.

They can take for granted our love for immersion when it comes to kits, boots, billboards, and stadiums. That stuff is easy. It's just money and textures. Improvements to gameplay take time, patience, iteration, and a willingness to hear ALL the audiences. I feel betrayed by this patch. It wasn't for Career Mode / offline people, I can tell you that much.

But oh well, when they "fix" gameplay and it makes the game worse, I'll still have all them licenses...maybe the licenses can get to all them loose balls.

Go look at their twitter account and tell me that's not the only thing they care about!

I use manual passing, more specifically I use the through pass 90% of the time because I can get more speed with it.

This patch has made the passing feel like it is on assited when it isn't. I aim the through ball directly at the reciever and it leads him. Very odd. Anybody experiencing this type of action?

It should though. As a manual player myself if I need to get more speed on a pass I use the low driven pass. You just have to be VERY light on the application of it if the pass distance isn't that great.

Go look at their twitter account and tell me what the vast majority of the people who tweet them are asking about.

I've never noticed that, then again I don't use the through pass unless I'm trying to beat the back line.

It isn't just them, every PES tweet I see is about MyClub or whatever. If people enjoy this stuff and it creates revenue for them, it's hard to argue with their logic, but it does feel like the offline play is constantly on the back burner, which sucks for those of us who hate online gaming.

Yeah. I've seen that. I've also tried to ask questions about Manager Mode and kits and such and haven't gotten a reply, but when I made up something about FUT, they were happy to answer. It's obvious and quite frankly, pathetic what their priorities are.

Focusing resources on what makes the most money ain't pathetic - it's smart business practice.

I'm primarily an offline, CM, single player, and I hate that the mode I want to play gets so little attention comparatively, but in their shoes I can't say that I do it any differently. After all, at the end of the day their jobs are dependent upon pleasing the bean counters at EA.

ONLY focusing on FUT is not a smart business practice. If they continue to ignore other problems, it will eventually come back to bite them in the butt.

You're right about it not being smart, but it doesn't matter because it's lucrative. Thus far it seems they've been able to improve their profit margin from the game by focusing their attention on only half the game. As long as they can maintain FUT popularity it'll be the driving force behind FIFA development. The only thing I can think of that would shift their attention towards CM would be a competitor making a game with a CM that draws away a large enough portion of their consumer base. However, EA still holds most of the licenses, and Konami is shifting their focus towards mobile gaming, which to me sounds like the slow death of PES, so that's not likely.

To be fair, if you're waiting on them to answer questions about improving any aspect of the game on twitter, regardless of how valid, you're going to be waiting a long time. The only responses I see from them are the same copy/paste type stuff like contact us at xxxx or here's a link that might help etc. They (or pretty much any similar company, such as 2K's account) aren't going to answer any actual questions about the game or directly comment on something that somebody feels is a negative aspect of the gameplay for a variety of reasons.

And? They're promoting their most played mode. Madden does the same thing and look at the things they added to Connected Franchise compared to Ultimate Team. I didn't know someone from the social media department has so much say in what's important in making FIFA.

C'mon guys..... Am I the only one who thinks that Premier League Winter Ball is absolute train wreck????

You're totally missing the point, but whatever. I'm not gonna change your mind and you're not going to change mine. Keep enjoying your Pokemon football and I'll just try and put up with another lackluster effort for us "offline Manager Mode guys."

The Devs for Madden have already mentioned that they are disappointed at the current state of CFM, which tells me that they are looking to vastly improve this mode next year. Why can't we get anything like that from the FIFA devs?
