I would give it a 9/10. Really enjoying it so far. Played about 9 hours.

I really enjoyed the EA Access and usually don't let OS influence what I buy but man the terrible comments in this thread and overall attitude about it, despite getting some good (even great) reviews had me drive right on Best Buy yesterday at lunch instead of picking up my copy.

I guess I remember now why I should just usually just buy my copy and play and THEN read threads LOL.

I may go get it but I may wait until a Black Friday deal...still undecided.

There's moments where there's early morning/evening and it's not as dark, but it's never completely daytime.

Question, How would you guys compare this to The Crew? I enjoy The Crew for its open world USA, even though its online only, similar to this game. Is this game tied to track only racing, or is it open world etc? Never played a NFS game before, hoping theres a ps4 demo.

It's open world racing but I have never played the crew so I can't compare the two

I asked this question to a guy on twitter that has the game & he said it's only night racing. I played the beta when it was out & that's all I ever saw. I really wish it had a day to night cycle myself.

To those wondering, this is as bright as it gets.

My initial impressions were really poor but decided to give it some more time since I have it on trial with ea access and I must say it is a fun game to play once you get the mechanics of drifting down and once you start upgrading your cars as blue mentioned.

Once I turned "Drift stability control" off, drifting felt much better and similar to what I am used to with other need for speed games.

I still have more time on my trial and will continue to play the game. At the end of the trial I will see how I feel about the game then and determine whether or not I should still buy it. Right now I'm leaning towards yes but time will tell.

I also wanted to know from those on the ps4 with the game whether or not they experienced any framerate skippinng and stuttering while driving around.

I ran a race earlier that was so lovely for drifts. I got like 3 "perfect moments" in the run and had some really long drifts around corners. Playing Driveclub has turned me into a drift addict. I've tuned every car I've bought for that type of setup.
