WWE 2K16 Season Pass and DLC Details Revealed, Trailer Included

2K has just revealed details on the downloadable content offerings, Season Pass and Digital Deluxe Editions for WWE 2K16 on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. Make sure to check out the trailer here.

The downloadable content offerings will include a story-driven 2K Showcase surrounding the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2015 inductees; access to new moves, unlockable content, player progression; and a wealth of playable WWE Legends and WWE and NXT� Superstars. The individual content packages will begin releasing in late 2015, with some packages releasing in early 2016.

Accelerator

Players will gain instant access to all unlockable content available in the game (excluding downloadable content);
The Accelerator will be available for a suggested price of $1.99.

MyPlayer KickStart (PS4� system and Xbox One Exclusive)

Players will gain instant access to boost created Superstar ratings and attributes in the game�s MyCareer mode;
MyPlayer KickStart will be available for a suggested price of $9.99.

Legends Pack

Playable WWE Legends: Big Boss Man, Dusty Rhodes, Lita, Mr. Perfect, �Rowdy� Roddy Piper and Trish Stratus;
The Legends Pack will be available for a suggested price of $8.99.

2015 Hall of Fame Showcase

Playable matches include:
- �Macho Man� Randy Savage vs. Jake �The Snake� Roberts;
- Rikishi vs. The Rock;
- Alundra Blayze vs. Paige;
- Larry Zbyszko and Arn Anderson vs. Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat and Dustin Rhodes
- Tatsumi Fujinami vs. Ric Flair;
- The Bushwhackers (Butch Miller and Luke Williams) vs. The Natural Disasters (Typhoon and Earthquake);
- The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) vs. Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray);
The 2015 Hall of Fame Showcase will be available for a suggested price of $9.99.

New Moves Pack

More than 30 new moves, including the Corner Enzuigiri (made popular by WWE Diva Nikki Bella), Avalanche Ram (made popular by WWE Diva Paige), Sidewinder Suplex (made popular by WWE and NXT Superstar Kevin Owens), Standing Crossface Chickenwing (made popular by WWE Superstar Stardust) and Dragon Sleeper (made popular by NXT Superstar Finn B�lor);
The New Moves Pack will be available for a suggested price of $3.99.

Future Stars Pack

Playable NXT Superstars: Samoa Joe, Diego, Fernando, Blake and Murphy;
The Future Stars Pack will be available for a suggested price of $7.99.

Don't forget Bayley in the NXT stuff as really relevant and I would put Dash & Dawson as well as Mojo Rawley (because he is teaming with Ryder now) as missing from NXT but other than that they have a great roster. Many of those mentioned as well didn't start receiving pushes until mid/late summer, well after the game roster was finalized.

You don't seem to understand. The reason people didn't play as diva's in past years is because they've barely been relevant. But, now in 2015, they're getting the biggest pops on the roster and headlining shows. For the first time since Lita and Trish's great rivalry, the diva's are extremely relevant and a featured focus of the WWE's most talked about brand right now. Yet, this was ignored by someone. In a year that not only featured Paige, Nattie, Bellas, and other divas plus the Four Horsewomen AND Lita and Trish as DLC? I would guarantee you that many, many people would play as the divas.

Lets slow down with that. They are getting some of the biggest pops in NXT. You cant say that when it comes to WWE. Even Sasha (who is awesome) gets a pop that would be described as decent at best.

Also, Paige, Nattie and the Bellas were in last years game and a large majority of people didnt play with them. Im not saying that the 4H shouldnt be a part of the game. I just dont think the inclusion of Sasha and Charlotte wouldve cause people to play with the Divas alot.

Neither did Jordan and Gable though, I was just putting them in there because they seemed to be the only ones that are doing anything now that aren't in it.

Pardon my ignorance, but what exactly is NXT? I see a lot of people talking about it. Admittedly, I have not followed wrestling on TV in a long time. Maybe 10 years or so... Is it like a development promotion or something where they push young talent? I bought WWE2K15 last week (on sale on for 15$ on XB Live) to get back familiar with the game before 2K16. Though I have only been playing the showcase modes and a few exhibition matches here and there.

NXT was originally a competition where they would bring up talent from FCW and pair them with a "pro" this lasted for a few years and eventually FCW became NXT, at one time it was regarded as developmental but seeing as its a cornerstone on WWE Network (which if your not familar with that check the Network discussion topic in the WWE forum) with the star power it has from major independent promotions its been seen as a third brand in some fans eyes

So can I purchase the accelerator without purchasing the season pass? I'm really not that thrilled with any of the other dlc, so I'm not interested in paying 24 bucks for the season pass.

Yes you can purchase the accelerator separately for $1.99.
