My dream is that professional sports league will not renew their licensing contracts with EA and when or if that day ever come, that will be a great day in the sports market.
EA is not going to give up the licence until it stops making them money. So in your dream, who would step up and make games in their place. A small examplewould be, Microsoft has had the rights to High Heat and Links and they have not made any games. As gamers we are lucky an independent company stepped up produce a great golf game.

I just don't understand your first post being about EA will drop out making "professional sport" market...agenda post...what was your previous OS user name?

I wish they would patch in an option to turn them off. Tiger Wood 13 and 14 were so good, I don't understand the direction they took with this game. It's beautiful but does not hold my attention like those 2 titles. Also, I hope in later patches that they put the Country Club back in.

I could be wrong, but I feel like I remember reading that Microsoft sold Links to 2K alongside Top Spin, and Amped back when they shut down XSN.

You could be right, but my point is Microsoft and 2K did nothing with those titles. If EA steps away from a sports title, there is no guarantee that another company will step in. Heck, EA hasn't got back into baseball!

On the other thread about this patch that is now closed the last poster said that the celebrations were toned down. I don't know if that's true personally.

After all the vitriol regarding this feature I can't imagine why the notes wouldn't have included that information...

I hope hoever signed off on "the Robot" has been removed from the Dev team. Its like some type of bad joke.

Right now the golfers celebrate like college kids at an EDM concert hopped up on Molly. Until that's removed I won't be playing this again anytime soon.

I'm not sure if it's sad or what, but I am still enjoying the career mode on TW14 as a result of this title being so thin in that mode.

I thought about downloading the update with East Lake but haven't yet. Not sure I care enough anymore about the game, at least until we see some of these other issues addressed.

Leaving on the animations on here is something of a slap in the face to those who have purchased it and have to watch that nonsense. All you can do is laugh though.

The celebrations are rather annoying. At least skipping them earlier than usual would be a nice addition. When I skip my "ball in flight", I want to be able to immediately proceed to the next shot. Just a thought. I don't want to see him walking or fist pumping. I could care less.
