NBA 2K16 Video - Create Your Own Style, Brand New Gear Added All Year Long

2K has just released a quick NBA 2K16 video, featuring their partnership with real life apparel brands (adidas Basketball, Stance, Under Armour, Jordan Brand, Pigalle, Mitchell & Ness and Nike).

New gear will be added all year long, so gamers can create endless combinations for their MyCAREER player to represent themselves, their team and affiliation.

I like the new gear and such and branded gear. But that wasn't a problem to me with the myPlayer store.

It was the shoes: they were too damn much. Great thing is the shoes look very cheap now rather than 7.5K for a shoe. Hopefully custom shoes have a cut too. At least 3K VC, at most 5K VC. Please 2K, you're my only sneaker hope

"MyPlayer doesn't represent an accurate progression of male pattern baldness. If you look at my beginning hairstyle, you can see that it's at Class I of male pattern baldness according to the Norwood-Hamilton scale. Over the course of 6 seasons, it seems that MyPlayer has progressed to IIIA. I think the progression is broken. It seems to have skipped II and IIIA is a lot less common in hairstyles and types like the one MyPlayer has. I've started a petition to patch so please sign! Game is unplayable until this is fixed!"

2K turned into a cash cow now add all these new things and no no way for us to earn it have to buy it with our own money sucks that's 1 thing I like about NBA Live 16 you can upgrade and earn all these sneakers and animations

Like most of you here, I could care less about merchs. They are nice addition to the game don't get me wrong, but I just want to know (again like most of you here) if we can select body types for CAP this year.

Not true, if you play the game and download the mobile app you will have plenty of VC to buy the things you need or want.

I'm impressed, not going to lie. BUT something that caught my eye was the same ridiculous prices. I understand 2k needs to make money, and VC is the way they want to go, but the prices are wayyy too high. Think about it, in real life these athletes pay very little (well for them it's little) for all their stuff. 500 should be max for accessories.

Already preordered. Would love to know if there's home and away options for shoes this year but otherwise I know I'm getting the game anyway.

There was a home and away option for shoes last year so I don't see why it won't be in this year.

Nothing wrong with taking pride in how your player looks. And that doesn't make you girly lol. More options is cool I dig the socks

I think we get that the Myleague/MyGM guys want to see some CAP for that but do we really need to hear about it every time they release information that isn't that. If a trailer or blog doesn't doesn't cover the part of the game you are interested in then why comment saying that.

Anyway this was a nice little trailer. Really like the clothes and gear shown, most of all the socks look great. I assume we will be wearing these clothes in MyCourt too, right?

This is all well and good but really no different than last year. I'd rather her about the actually myplayer/CAP feature and what improvements were made.
We wanna see body scaling, hairstyles, no limitations in accessories and layering. New socks are good but wont matter if we cant change sock type and length plus layering of the socks. You should have the option to place socks on underneath or on top of leg accessories
