Once you have submitted your registration for your chance to join the Need for Speed Closed Beta, if selected you will receive a confirmation email with more details on the Need for Speed Closed Beta. The space is limited so we may not be able to accept all players who register.

While the game is scheduled to release for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on November 5, the PC version has been delayed until Spring 2016.

Part of the conversation includes hearing from our PC community that an unlocked frame rate in Need for Speed is a massive priority for you, and we fully agree. To deliver this, we’ve made the decision to move the PC release date to Spring 2016.

This decision on PC gives us the necessary development time to increase the visuals that we can deliver on PC. We will also include content updates that will have been released on console up to that time, making them available to all PC players from day one.

On another note, they have revealed more detailed information on visual customization, which you can check out here and here.

The customization in this is sweet and I like the map a lot more than the last NFS. Going to try not to play much more. Think I'll just hold off until I buy it.

I wonder about the no daytime thing as well. I mentioned this when watching a lot of the early videos they dropped.

There is some daytime in it bit it for a few minutes than it gone. They need to add like 30-45 mins of daytime seeing that it night most of the time.

Loving this Beta so far. It has surpassed my expectations and get me even more excited for the game release. The last racing game I played was Forma Horizon when I had a 360 and that was amazing. I know this is the beta and all, but it is pretty damn close to being a great game like that. Just racing with friends is fun. Only things that need to be fixed are the handling, rubberbanding AI, and cops. Also it seem like the other AI drivers try to hit you car sometime.

im enjoying the beta myself and it gives me a feeling of underground and carbon mixed together. i grinded to get me a focus rs and tuned it to almost 600 hp but now i cant do one race in it without the game crashing or losing connection
