A lot of people over rated imo. Lamarcus, Demarcus, Gasol and griffen should be around 90-92

Dwight, Klay, Pau, Randolph, Jordan, wall, George, lilliard, Drummond should be 85-88

Kobe should be around 86,wade and butler at 87,

The MVP, RPM leader and best player on the championship team-- as the 11th best rated player and below/same as Harden and Westbrook. And Griffin, Paul, Gasol, and Aldridge.

SMH.

Did Charles Barkley do the ratings?

He's tied for 8th, and only one point of 3rd. Not to crazy to think about there are 7-9 elite players in the league who may look like the best player in basketball on any given night

I wish Live looked as good in motion as it does in the up close stills.

If you hypothetically had 15 players on each team, that would be 450 unique athletes. I don't think having 22 of those (appx.) 450 being 90+ is terrible, considering there are multiple superstars on some teams. I agree that a few of those guys probably shouldn't be that high though. I'd probably move Drummond, Klay, DJ, PG, Irving, Wall and Lillard all into the mid to high 80's. I'd also lower DWade and Kobe a bit, but I feel everyone else is pretty legit.

I like that the best player isnt a 99, but there are simply too many 90s from guys that are NOT ELITE PLAYERS. Deandre? John Wall? Drummond?!? Seriously? Too-high ratings almost always results in games where defense is an afterthought.

7-9 elite players yet their are 22 that are rated 90 or above. You're right any players can look elite on a given night, Brandon Jennings put up 55 in a game his rookie year, but what make a player elite is looking like one of, if not the, best players night in and night out. Deandre Jordan is a freak unique talent that changes a game by being on the court but rarely looks like the best player on his team, let alone the league.

Ratings will adjust once the season starts but something like these ratings make me question just how sim and realistic the Live team is striving for and maybe that's just it. The sim crowd is expecting this game to match the competition in terms of realism all around and that just might not be the goal of the game. But hey that's why there's competition. For the hardcore sim crowd there is a game for you and for those that want a basketball game that still plays well (hopefully) and is fun on the court there is Live

I think you misread my post, I was talking about curry being tied for 4th best ratings wise, because someone disagreed with that. I tried to explain why it's not that crazy to think that as Lbj, Durant, Harden, Westbrook, Davis,Paul, Blake, and Gasol are all really elite and deserve recognition. With that said, I agree there are way too many 90s. Honestly only the players I just listed should be 90s imo.

Your list worst than theirs lol. I'm a Blazers fan, and though I hate he left, there's no way Dame a 91 and Lamarcus a 87, probably should reverse that.

I gotcha, i ust have misread/misinterpreted your post.. I can agree with your list of elite players. I do wonder if some of these ratings are based on expectations as well. Maybe they are expecting certain players to step their game up this year.

Honestly I think that they rely to heavily on individual stats/percentages. That's why the ratings are so high. They should look at plus minus/ Real plus minus and how people impact the game. Guys like Draymond Green impact the game so much without great stats. They also need more ratings especially for hustle, awareness, pnr defense/offense iq, catching on the run. Of course a guy like Klay Thompson will seem better than Kawhi when only looking at numbers

These ratings are definitely much higher than I anticipated. I haven't played an NBA live game since 2004 but I plan to give the demo and proAm a spin Tuesday. I've liked some things I've seen but we'll see how this game plays. Are having high ratings like this the norm in Live games?

# 17 MarvinOida @ 09/14/15 02:35 AM
I'm looking at this and I feel like these are Overalls based on position. Like 91 Center doesn't equal 91 SF. Seems also to me, that offense boosts overall a lot. Tho Z-Bo must have some high/equal defensive/offensive stats to be higher than say, Kevin Love.

22 players with a 90 rating is unacceptable. Yes having 22 of 450 with a 90 rating is terrible. That's elite company right there. Still looking forward to this game & will be playing the demo in a couple of days.
