Greg Anthony Joins Kevin Harlan and Clark Kellogg as Commentary Team in NBA 2K16

Greg Anthony will join Kevin Harlan and Clark Kellogg as the 3 man commentary team for NBA 2K16, as reported by our own Dustin Toms.

Greg will replace Steve Kerr, who was coaching the Golden State Warriors and commentating in NBA 2K15 at the same time. He is a super talented multitasker.

Other notes from Dustin, as he gets hands-on time with NBA 2K16 today. (More to come)

New Playoff structure will ship day one with #NBA2K16. No patch needed.

Between-quarter interviews during games. John Henson just talked about how he can improve this season.
Just finished Milwaukee vs. Atlanta (CPU). Defense much more refined...makes you play harder and smarter.
One quarter into Cavs vs. Kings (CPU). Difference between CLE's quickness and MIL's length very apparent.
Nice lob pass from Love to JR. Smith followed the pass from over the shoulder.
TONS of updated player hairstyles in NBA 2K16 from summer. Sounds like CAP could be in for a treat.
Players had COMPLETE body scans into the game. Yes, even legs.

I can see the amount of commentators growing each year with this title now.

As much as guys don't like Barkley, Miller and C-Webb on commentary, would still be cool to see them apart of the Shaq, Ernie and Kenny dynamic.

Come on guys, lower your asking price a bit!!

I am totally neutral on Greg Anthony. I can't remember a single game with him commentating; so I'll be totally open to his success.

I will miss Steve Kerr. Most of all I miss Chick Hern, who spoiled me on any other commentator. I have yet to experience a commentator equal to Hern in basketball.

C'Mon man!!! You know Charles ain't about the $$$. Reggie and C-Webb for sure as hell could be. But I have also heard different on Miller forget what though.

Chuck can be convinced for sure, man. What was it, NBA 2K13, with the dream team? If the asking price is right, I'm sure he'd go for it.

I don't know what Reggies issue is, we'll probably never know .

I don't know how old you are but bob Blackburn who used to call the sonics in 70's and 80's was the best all time that was never really heard of.

He did the Dream Team as a personal favor to Jay-Z... and refused to allow any more. He would not even sign off with using the Dream Team players individually.

Both Miller and he have a principle they are standing on and it is rare to push people away from their principles.

Yea he only did that because he was called by Jay Z personally and convinced to do it. He doesn't give a **** about money to put it bluntly. He hates the way the NBA treats it's retired players and doesn't want them making any money off his likeness because of that. If you have been following the classic teams you would see this in every thread and whenever Barkley has been brought up as the commentator to replace Kerr.

It would be awesome in the future if they added a second commentary crew like Fifa. Be cool to have a national crew and a hometown crew. I think Joel Meyers or Kevin Callabro would be absolutely awesome as a local announcer, and would warrant consideration. Pair them with a former player (brent barry, steve smith)...that'd be gold!

He wouldn't be a famous person, but Jim Peterson should be the guy. He's the best TV analyst in the game. Not even close.

I might as well posted here as well considering all this back and forth banter about whether Barkley and NBA2k basketball.

Straight from the horses mouth with regards to the previous version of NBA2k15's halftime show. Lakers24 posted the following video by the way somewhere in this thread or one of these 2k threads.

Barkley wants to get paid, probably a lot of money. That's probably the key ingredient holding back Barkley. Does this put it to rest.

Barkley specifically said "I want to do it, but I didn't want to do it for free...This is America !!"

Guarantee you that's just Chuck being silly on the show. Getting him off Inside and in an actual sitdown interview about doing the video games he said exactly why he doesn't do the games. I'm sure Shaq and EJ didn't do 2K15 for free lol

Yeah, I get that, but my point is still that Chuck is playing up his part of being a clown on the show. I've mentioned it a few times before about this topic when it comes up, but people are satisfied running with the money excuse I guess. Chuck was on the radio here back when he agreed to do the Dream Team and specifically said that he didn't care about the money and the money he did get from 2K to be in he wanted to all go to the retired players group. He doesn't do any sort of licensing with the NBA because his issue is with the league.

Then, can someone please further explain a couple things?

Note: I don't have access to TNT. Does Charles do analysis on other sports beside the NBA and March Madness? If Charles was so against the NBA, why does he do commentary analysis on the league?

Had no clue who Stacey King was. Thought King might have been female so I did a youtube search. People keep hyping up this and that announcer and they never live up to the hype. But Stacey is definitely some funny stuff. But you definitely need a more grounded announcer to balance things out and at least commentate on the action on the court.

Stacey King pure comedy gold.
