Oi... I am chapped I paid full price and really couldn't play the game until yesterday anyway. I essentially paid an extra $20 to be a 2 week beta tester

EA is really starting to make me furious. As a fanboy, yes I can admit it, I cannot continue to buy their crap on launch day. Horrible pre-order offers, games that are not ready to fully go (madden and rory), and discounted prices after launch date. I really know that this should not make me mad, but I know better. Thank goodness I held off on my FIFA pre-order. /rant
It is a good deal for those that have not purchased the game at the same time.

I did see somewhere on OS that a guy went on chat and did get a credit, not for $10 but for $20. I had no such luck however, even after pushing a bit. Just told them that I would rethink my Amazon purchases from now on.

Video games have some of the most frequent sales around, if you've been gaming for any length of time you should know not to pay full retail for anything.
FWIW, If you have gamers club unlocked at Best Buy (a really worthwhile purchase IMO) you could get Madden launch day for $48 and received $10 in reward coupons.

Really surprised to see a sale like this so soon after the release. I was on the fence as far as buying this year's version, but at $40 it's too good a deal to pass up.
