Who cares bro!!! Lets us older fans enjoy the attitude era guys. Its obvious thats where the money is at. There are plenty of CAW spots fir your current guys u want to play with

Nice list and so far these Legends look damn good compared to last years legends. Can't wait for this game.

If anything this will be the most accurate roster in a very long time
Seriously, they haven't announced JOHN CENA yet. People need to relax. With Stone Cold on the cover, there needs to be a pretty strong Attitude Era element, and it appears that there is, which immediately piques my interest.

For me, this is by far the worst week of reveals. Other than in the showcase, I will not use a single one of the wrestlers announced today. It would have been a nice sweetener to throw an Enzo and Cass in there to appeal to both crowds. Though in other forums there's been a lot of pissing and moaning at the lack of legends, so this makes sense. Hopefully they give a big time NXT reveal next week.

Glad they listened to the pissing and moaning of the legend fans as opposed to the pissing and moaning of NXT whiners.

those talking about no Pillman....

if I remember right...they talked about the Austin storyline and that it covers all 3 companies he was in (WCW, ECW, WWE). And they mentioned that the "Hollywood Blondes" were involved.

Either it's just a video package...or Pillman will be in the game in the "Blondes" attire.

and the WCW also means...maybe a Dangerous Alliance?

Rude, Austin, Heyman (Dangerously), Medusa, Anderson, Zybysco, Eaton?

I'm an older guy as well but play my Universe as current with my own storylines. The legends have had plenty of games to be in. Plus they announced it would be the most ACCURATE roster possible.

Ya please give me even more legends than NXT jobbers. I don't have WWE Network so I don't watch NXT so I don't know who most of those guys are.

Also I'll be livid if Sid is not in the game again as a playable character.

There's plenty of CAW spots for your old guys who don't wrestle anymore.

I wish the four foley' sand Wight/Big Show were alternate attires. Sucks they take up 6 spots when it could be 2.

Oh well, I'm still impressed with the roster ALREADY, can't wait for next Monday, where I assume they'll announce some NXT guys.

Typically this series is handled more like a fighting game where any new characters released post-launch are DLC.

"Roster updates" a la Madden / NBA 2K / The Show don't exist in this series right now. This is most obviously illustrated in WWE 2K15 where Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Dean Ambrose all have their Shield gimmicks, despite that the game released several months after The Shield disbanded.

Ok thanks for answering me. And how much DLC do they usually release, just wondering if the season pass will be worth it or not?

The past two years, it's been broken down like this:

- 1 to 3 pre-order bonus characters eventually released individually late in the game's life cycle (the exact number received at preorder depended on version of the game purchased)
- three DLC packs, released monthly after the game's release date, containing anywhere from four to six additional wrestlers

Starting with WWE 2K15, 2K also added new paths to the Showcase feature via DLC. Each Superstar DLC pack contained a new story arc around a new Superstar, which had about ten matches to play along with video vignettes, photos, etc. I can't speak to the quality of the DLC showcases because I never played them, but the on-disc Showcase mode scenarios are nice nostalgia trips, generally speaking.

Also worth noting that the Season Pass is necessary to edit the attributes / traits / etc. of any non-CAW wrestler in the game. Which I find a bit sleazy from a customer service standpoint, but I continue to pay for it so I suppose I can't get but so up-in-arms, lol.

I hope Honkytonk man can wrestle in his proper wrestling attire this year. Last year he could only wrestle in his red entrance suit. That was fine for the showcase but outside of that I wanted his proper wrestling trunks when in ring.

See, I can play that game too.

As sad as the state of current WWE is, 2K knows they make their money off of the legends they include and not the current roster.

Dudleys, Owen and Mr Perfect is all I need

Speaking as someone who watched religiously during the AE, and as someone who loves NXT I think we need more NXT wrestlers(especially the Horsewomen) on disc. Still more reveals to go so hopefully they flesh out the rest of the NXT roster. I guess they are going to have a dlc which I'm cool with as long as it's new arrivals like Joe, Gable, Dana Brooke, and Crews.
