I wonder if the "red tint" people are talking about has to do with the OKC display going across the balcony area. Maybe the colors in those lights effect the lighting in the game? I know that when I've gone to games there times when that display changes and it seems to effect the brightness of the arena. It's something that isn't noticeable when watching on tv though.

I have a feeling the new ratings are gonna take some getting used to be some people but it looks good if they stick with it... especially if the peak ratings is LeBron at a 94.

Whoa, did they fix the lighting? Hope so and hope they remove that color filter we saw in the videos.

Just noticing that we haven't seen any pics of players sweating even in all the video clips players are dry as a bone, i hope this wasnt taken out.

It's all about the legs. This is what separates KD/Davis from most other players. Their lankiness below the neck.

Nah, they got it perfect. If you've seen KD in the last year or so, he is carrying a bit more weight in the upper body these days. That 2K16 pic is basically exactly what he looks like now.

I think this is the best looking lighting we've seen so far for 2K16.

LeBron IS an all time great and his rating dropped when compared to other all-time greats. Are they going to decrease the ratings of Jordan, Oscar, Bird, Magic, Malone, Russell, Shaq, Wilt, Hakeem too? Or am I not understanding this?
I really don't understand all the negative backlash about the new rating system. It basically means that the rating system is based upon the greatest ever at any one thing instead of the current generation of players.

Yes Lebron may well be an all time great, but a lot of that is to do with his size, speed for his size and his IQ. He's an unspectacular shooter from 2....average at best from 3 and hes declining athletically theses days.

What I believe the rating system will mean is that across the modes, a 99 in any attribute means that you are the best at that particular thing in the history of the game....which is a lot better than a whole bunch of players maxing out simply because there is no more room to go with the stats (apart from Myplayer I cant speak for that mode - as far as we know ppl could still buy their way to 99 on that...). The obvious benefit is with MyTeam but it makes sense for the ratings to be universal across the modes so you can relate to the numbers across the modes.

Color tone is clearly off on all the screenshots we've seen so far. At least this one looks like an upgrade from 2K15.

I like the idea of the rating system...curious to see how it pans out overall and more importantly, how the game/players play as a result.

I believe Ronnie said that 6 current day players are 90+ however. If that's the case, and the way they are rating these players is in scale with all-time players, I am really curious who is rated above KD. Because despite last season, its Lebron and him then everyone else as far as best in the league.

Right. He is a bit larger these days...the upper body was clearly scanned. It's the legs that will be the test. With guys like him and Wiggins(esp Wiggins), it's not going to look right if they don't capture the legs.

So KD and Lebron are 90+. My guess is that Curry and Harden are up over 90. Probably AD. Maybe Westbrook after his season last year. Not quite sure who else could possibly be up there if those aren't the 6.

His skin tone looks great in 2k16, it's honestly as close to the real thing as I think it can get.

This is definitely the best screenshot released so far and definitely makes the lighting in this game look great. I hope now that you guys can see what I meant about guys who've been scanned having a "glow" to them. It's something about the body scans that Pixel Gun did that makes them come out looking different. Maybe it's the skin texture but either way, it looks damn good.

Lighting has been getting a lot of love in the last few weeks. You can definitely see the difference in this screenshot. You should continue to see it moving forward.
