NHL 16 News Post

Cycling the puck should take on even more importance with NHL 16's EASHL mode. With teams being balanced, you'll need to get the puck deep and then move it to create chances. On the power play, the same concept will apply. If passing and finite movements are improved enough, that should allow you to be creative and create chances that can lead to power-play goals.

So here's a look at some puck cycling sequences put together in the NHL 16 EASHL beta. Tell us what you think.

There's nothing better than seeing a EASHL team playing hockey like it's hockey.

I like it when teams get the D involved. Nothing worse than playing D and sitting at the blue line while FWDs either pass to one another or become black holes and just shoot, shoot, shoot when they have the puck. You have defenseman who can either open up passing lanes or shoot for deflections/redirects. Use them.

The team I play on just knows I would throw a tantrum and quit if I didn't get the puck some at defense -- that's why you see the defense involved so much in these videos.
