NHL 16 News Post

We already knew the NHL 16 team was focused on getting more signature chants into the game, and it was previously confirmed that Daniel Bryan's iconic "Yes!" chant was going to be in the game, but it's nice to see it now in video form.

Really liked it! until i see the backup goaltender(greiss?) celebrate with the team in the end when it was Halak who played the game looks really strange.

Greiss comes in from the direction of the bench and moves in behind the players moving toward the center ice "fist pump" celebration.

Wish it was the goalie who played the game they showed in the celebration. Think it looks kind of strange now when we dont se Halak at all.

This is awesome. The crowd sounds excellent. The commentary sort of ruined the post-game center ice celebration though. Doc sounded really lame.

This is fantastic! The horn blasted a few times as well, which was always a gripe of mine in the game.

Having custom sound would be awesome (I know this isn't EA fault) BUT if these authentic goal horns/songs are included, that will be enough for me.

I hate doc emirik man his commentary is so annoying in real life, and in the game sounds so dead and robotic

This is great but it is ruined by the fact that commentary is terrible. It is too robotic and forced and still lacks the excitement you get from an NBC broadcast.

Commentary is awful. Supposedly Doc's enthusiasm is tied to star players and when teams are pinned into their own zones and OT/Playoff game winning goals etc....

The Islanders goal horn is a computer generated one that was the same as last year, but extended in length to sound more "authentic"

YES! Chants are pretty cool, but shouldn't the yes chants be heard at the end when the islander players are all doing the yes gestures?

Pretty sure you can't copyright saying "yes" a bunch of times.

Presentation aside, this is another video showing completely clueless, lethargic defensive AI.

I'm curious to know what other "Authentic goal horns/song" are in the game? I know Chelsea Dagger is for Chicago, I hope the Rangers have their goal song in the game.

The goalie AI was pretty bad. I couldn't tell if it was human or not, but regardless, it looks like it was either a new player trying to adjust, or an AI goalie with terrible AI.
