Lol Brown is not the best WR is the NFL and no Jordy Nelson is quite baffling.

Megatron is still the best WR in the NFL. I'm a huge Packers fan but there is no way I'm taking Jordy over Calvin.

I knew ODB would get a boost cuz he's the cover guy.

Demaryius Thomas got robbed, sorry. Manning dropping was right on, but DT is definitely top 4 tho

It looks like EA is continuing to dial down the SPD and ACC ratings which is good. However, they are still jacking up the other attributes to arrive at very high OVR values. If they also brought those skill-related attributes down, they would be on their way to fixing this stuff....so long as they base it off of some verifiable data and not youtube scouting.

What impact did the injury modifier have on megatron?

I don't so much have a problem with Brown but OBJ? He has a good rookie season but Jordy Nelson was better in just about every way last year. This is the typical EA rookie good season overreaction.

If it's any consolation, CJ is in the next 5 and is technically tied with Nelson.

AJ Green 80
Calvin Johnson 80
Odell Beckham 78
Alshon Jeffery 77
Julio Jones 72

Just out of curiosity, what makes Marshall so high? Watching him last year, I'm not even sure I'd say he's a #1 WR on a good team anymore, much less one of the top WRs in the league.

Woah, Marshall? Why is that?

Well, his breaking tackle grade is third highest in the league among WRs and his fluidity after the catch in space grade is 5th. His ball-positioning grade is 6th as well.

Remember, the overall grade is based on the combination of all of his attributes, so isolating just one thing wouldn't make sense. His injury modifier is 0.4, meaning that he could be held back a bit too.

Most of the WRs around him have at least 0.1 for an injury modifier right now, but that is typical for this time of year.

Looks like they all have blown up spec catch.

One handers for everyone this year

Anybody else worried that Amari Cooper has a higher speed than all of them? I really hope they fix rookie ratings or this Madden could be a joke.

Jersey number kerning for Julio Jones (11) looks MUCH improved! DT is a top 3 receiver, how the hell did he miss top 5?

WOW Odell Beckham Jr. being that high... he's the cover guy but really it just further cements the proof of how silly these ratings are when Madden has no actual formula to them. Especially considering you could make the argument he had comparable years to other rookie WRs.

This does make me bring up 1 question.... how the HELL is Amari Cooper faster than Antonio Brown?

Not that 40 times mean anything but...

Cooper: 4.31 HH
Brown: 4.48 HH

Big difference there.
