Maybe I am the only person who cares but I am really excited about this game. I would like some more details though.

Not just you. You can add me to the list of those who can't wait to get hold of this game.

The big question: Will this game be available in North America? Distribution of previous WRC games on these shores has been spotty, at best.

I asked this question in another thread about the Xbox One version and I was told the Xbox One is no longer region locked. I did some research that also confirms that information.
It was also said that the PS4 is also not region locked.
So if the game is not available in the US we could always just import a copy of the game from a country that it is available in.
I could understand if they don't make it available on disk but I would think it should be available digitally here in the states. Time will tell.

Good to know. Thanks.

Let's hope this game is good. Proper rally games -- such as Colin McRae Rally, Richard Burns Rally and Mobil 1 Championship Rally -- are a ton of fun, with plenty of staying power.

What makes you guys so optimistic about this? The game could easily be complete garbage.

Watching videos of the older games it seems like a pretty serious game without any bells and whistles. Most of the people that don't seem to like WRC games seem to prefer the bells and whistles of Dirt (not talking about the most recent PC only version of Dirt) while people that want a game that is more serious seem to like WRC. WRC games seem to be a straight up licensed rally racing game. That gives me good hope although I never actually played any of the older games so I am not completely confident. I have heard people say the WRC games are arcade but honestly somebody will say any game is arcade. Based on what I have seen for WRC 5 and the older games I am willing to give it a try.
