Madden NFL 16 News Post

Microsoft and EA Sports have just announced their Madden NFL 16 Xbox One bundle, which includes an Xbox One console with a 1TB hard drive, a full download of Madden NFL 16 and a one-year subscription to EA Access. You can pre-order on Amazon for $399.99, with a scheduled release date of August 18.

Read the full press release below.

Football fans, rejoice: The Xbox One bundle you’ve been waiting for is here, just in time for football season. Featuring an Xbox One console with a 1TB hard drive, giving you tons of space for games, a full download of Madden NFL 16 to play when the game launches on Aug. 25, plus a one-year subscription to EA Access, the Xbox One Madden NFL 16 Bundle is built for sports fans.

Madden NFL 16 brings back your favorite Madden NFL modes: Connected Franchise, Ultimate Team, and last year’s new mode, Skills Trainer. Plus, it introduces brand-new modes like Draft Champions, a Madden-style take on fantasy football. New and improved controls give you way more playmaking options on both ends of the play, whether you’re a quarterback or a wide receiver fighting for the ball in the air. And the new presentation modes make the whole thing look, feel, and sound like a prime-time broadcast. All in all, you’ve got a massive new Madden NFL experience to keep you busy for many, many hours.

Plus, if you’re a fan of any EA game, the Xbox One Madden NFL 16 bundle with one year of EA Access is a dream come true. On top of access to The Vault, a collection of awesome EA titles that are free to play anytime, and saving 10 percent on all EA digital purchases, EA Access gives members the chance play upcoming EA games on Xbox One for a limited time before their release and the ability to keep your progress if you decide to purchase the game. That’s right, with EA Access, you can take Madden NFL 16 for a spin beginning on Aug. 20 before the full game launches on Aug. 25 only on Xbox One.

And don’t forget, Xbox One is the official game console of the NFL, so you can enjoy the NFL experience with the NFL on Xbox One App, and the ability to watch games right from your console.

Available for $399 USD, you can pre-order the Xbox One Madden NFL 16 Bundle at participating retailers now. The bundle hits stores Aug. 18, a week ahead of the full game’s launch on Aug. 25. Let’s get ready for some football!

Can someone please direct me on how to transfer my profile properly or point me in the right direction for an answer? Thank you in Advance...

I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask this question...

EDIT" Anyone notice that the Gamestop details of this bundle says nothing about Access Subscription for a year, and they are stating the release date is 8/25 ?
I think you just have to sign on to Xbox the first time you fire up the new one. All of your purchases should still be there. You will just have to download everything again.

The first link is to add the GT, the 2nd one is how to remove it.

Yup same here... I'm making the jump this year. Kind of glad I waited as long as I did though.

Madden 16's EA Access 10hr trial begins August 20th. So 5 days before release is how EA goes with all of EA Access trials!

Saw mine in person tonight, was fooled into thinking I could grab it today but nope not until tomorrow, she couldn't scan it in, but oh well. Can't wait to finally upgrade... Also one hell of a deal. I also got a $40 gift card (for my troubles) because I was told I could get it today and getting $20 off an additional controller.

Wait 15 hours and get Deal of the Century! Once again glad I waited...

Should have gotten a PS4. Just about every multiplatform game is better on it (either better frame rate or higher res or both), kind of like the 360 was last gen.

Almost did this deal last year, but I don't think EA Access was included. With the 1TB of storage, free download of Madden 16 and a year of EA Access, I'm going to jump on this deal.

Now I can play all EA games on the One and NBA 2K and MLB The Show on the PS4.

This makes no sense, not to mention it being completely wrong

See here: http://www.eurogamer.net/?type=face-off

3 multiplatform games are better on Xbox one. Counting 5 tied. Every other game (hundreds by now?) are better on PS4 (at least according to these analyses).

I was just mentioning it to the guy about to buy the worse hardware to play Madden (a multiplatform game). If the prices are the same might as well get the better hardware to play the better versions, although I think xbox is cheaper now than PS4.

^^whatever
How does the NFL app work? Is this also a free trial letting you watch whatever NFL game you want? Hoping to watch out of market games without buying the NFL cable package.

Just came in the mail today! Downloading everything now, can't wait to play some M16!

Hey guys, so I installed the free trial from the access hub, then later I entered in my code for the full game of M16. On the 25th, will I just be able to play on the same game app as the full version releases?

I'm an Xbox newbie so I'm not quite sure how it all works.
