NBA 2K16 Has Summer League in MyGM & MyLEAGUE, MyLEAGUE Online, Team Relocation, More

TrueAchievements have posted the NBA 2K16 achievements and it has revealed quite a few interesting nuggets of information.

According to the list, NBA 2K16 will feature the Summer League in both MyGM and MyLEAGUE. It also confirmed MyLEAGUE Online, team relocation and 3 team trades.

There are quite a few other achievements for MyTEAM, MyLEAGUE, MyGM, MyPARK, MyCAREER, but nothing for CREW fans, so take it for what it's worth.

Other notable Achievements:

Win all 10 games of 'Greatest of All-Time' in Play Now Online.
Announce where your college ball will be played at.
Discover your first rune in MyTEAM.
Complete the 10th game of The Gauntlet in MyTEAM.
Unlock Historic Domination in MyTEAM.

Yesssss, especially in MyLeague, have the specific option. Maybe in MyCareer or MyGM they could have it randomly kick in, maybe have an option as a setting to possibly kick in, I don't know how they'd do it, but it could definitely be incorporated.

That would be cool, but I doubt it...due to that changing the scheduling logic and such.

I just hope we can relocate teams at the start of an association, and not have to wait a year or something. I am thinking about Seattle of course, maybe one in Vegas, and if they give an option of a Kentucky team (UK fan here) I may do an all UK team in Kentucky for a real fantasy association type deal. Davis, Cousins and Wall on the same team? That would be pretty darn good.

you know, this does make me wonder. I hope we have additions like goggles and headbands, and I don't know how difficult this would be to add (remove for that matter in the game,) but the ability to add a three point line to courts or not. That would make it more authentic when people use classic teams. I know for authenticity sake, for some reason it always bothered me that teams before 1980 (like the 77 sixers, for example.) had a three point line. Kind of kills the immersion for me.

hopefully create-a-team can address this issue, though. With the courts. (if there is a create-a-team outside of mygm/myleague.)

maybe im nit-picking, but when I play with a classic team, I want it to be exactly or near exact how it would have been if it were a television broadcast. i thought it was cool what they did in 2k12 with the classic rivalries mode.

also...i hope they will have 30 euroleague teams in the game. This is because i like creating an all euroleague association at times, so its almost like i can have my own euroleague mode. what i did with 2k was I just swapped all of the euroleague teams with NBA and started a euroleague franchise...very addictive.

They should just let us use teams old concepts, all of them should be in if we're rebranding. Then we should be able to customize those if we want to change colors. Will we be able to design the courts?

In the NBA once you change a jersey you are unable to go back and use that jersey. So for instance with the Clippers, they can't decide we hate this new jersey and we want to go back to our old jerseys that we used in the 2014-15 season.

But then based on the past of 2k implementation of online leagues (2k11, OA in 2k12, 2k13, 2k14 and sadly OL in 2k15) which were plagued with many glitches and bugs, I will wait for the reviews after the release date.

There's no info one way or another about d league in MyLeague or MyGM, from what I've seen.

Really? Where did you see that official announcement? Wait, what OFFICIAL announcement have we seen of ANYTHING really? Not much. Certainly not much at all about D-League.

Is it REALLY hard to focus the discussions on what we DO know, instead of what we're assuming. Thanks to MS, there's enough leaked information to talk about instead of trying to read between lines. Now if only MS would "leak" some information on some EA titles, we'd get somewhere.

Some Dev also said that the leaked info isn't all the "new" info so I guess we will have to wait and see.

NBA pushes D League heavy. Basically every 2nd rounder spends half the season in the d league and a lot of late 1st rounders.

Don't understand how we can have association without D League.

Can't agree more. I remember on 2k11 sending my prospects to the development league and see them balling and check the stats.
It was fun and it gives a complete look to the my League. At the end "be a complete managing / sim mode" is what they want.

I also want to add something (I apologize for the second post)
It is true that if you add dleague teams and stadiums, you fill disc space because we are not completely digital yet. It is also true that with Blu-ray they have a lot of space for those things but it seems that they've reached the maximum allowed already so it is grey guys. Or we give up to euro teams and old school teams or I don't know other ways yet to make it happen.

It shouldn't be grey. MLB The Show has quite a number of generic baseball stadiums, as well as 60 separate AAA/AA teams WITH uniforms (they also have a separate A-ball system with 14 player slots). You could play an entire minor league season if you wanted. I'd like to think NBA 2k would be able to squeeze in 19 D-League teams and 4-5 generic gyms to play in.

I understand 2k has more of an online presence and historic teams, as well as MyCareer and all of those cut scenes, but I'd like to think a majority of people would be satisfied with even having an unplayable D-League in MyLeague to put extra players as long as those players accrued sim stats.
