NBA Live 16 News Post

The NBA Live 16 team will talk more about their physics-based player movement system, they call LIVEmotion, on Monday, June 15, during the EA E3 2015 press conference, scheduled to start at 4:00 PM ET.

Of course that isn't all the team will talk about, it's just a little nugget they revealed today. According to press releases, NBA Live 16 will be on the E3 floor in some capacity during the week. If that is the case, we should be hearing much more about NBA Live 16 very soon.

What are you hoping to hear?

I was a 2k guy 00'-2k3, then live from 04-10. But then live sort of fell apart and 2k took a big lead, partially thanks to live not releasing in 12/13. That being said, I really hope this year I will actually have a tough choice in which basketball game I purchase. I feel that 2k hasn't been as intuitive as they were before live took a free fall. So I just hope both team's continue to put out quality games year after year.

Just announced. EA begins their newest hype machine called LIVEmotion and no one cares.
in all seriousness I kinda enjoyed live last year and am really hoping live is even better this year but EA does this with all their games. They give some aspect of the game a fancy name then hype the crap out of it and it rarely ever lives up to what they hype it up to be.

Is this the year......? Could this finally be the year ????

Animations are my biggest grip with this game. Could it finally get addressed?

Nice. All I can wish for, is that they don't show a trailer or a couple of pre-prepared sequences. Been there, done that.

Show it in action in real time. No other way to even make it sound real. Please, no more of that x-ray view with the technology behind the technology. No more 2000 words about what it's like. None of that matters, at least to me.

Spoiler

Hopefully this isn't a disaster like nba elite

love to see the competition, which make Live and 2K series much more better, like PES and FIFA!

totally agree! actual gameplay footage is much more persuasive than an article or a "conceptual" trailer.

Last couple of years they have barely shown a thing by October...!

So, all this news come June has got to be a very good sign. They may well have something to be proud of at last?

Physics system works really well in FIFA....let's hope it is at that level in Live.

Best in class animation?!? This I've gotta see to believe because live was YEARS behind last year.

We are getting news earlier than expected, but the hype might be real. It hasn't felt like this since NBA Live 10. The NBA Live team seems to be confident this year. If this physics-based player movement system is legit, then we are going to have two basketball games that are worth playing this year.

Side Note: Hmmmm...I wonder what Mr. Shotsfired thinks about this. I know they made him butt hurt a couple years ago. lol

They have not shown anything to be hyped about, I wish people would stop getting their hope up with this little info it will just lead to disappointment.

Oh, I'm sorry for getting excited. I mean...I was never let down by an EA Sports game ever...I mean ever, especially from a basketball game.

If my expectations are met then I will be happy, but if they aren't then that's okay as well. I know EA's track record when it comes to Madden and NBA Live, but please don't be a buzz kill, bruh...
