WWE 2K15 News Post

The WWE announced today on their website that WWE 2K15 is coming to the PC later this Spring. The game is expected to release with full feature parity to the console versions as well as with the special editions of Sting and Hulk Hogan.

The game will ship with all of the DLC packs available to console gamers free of charge.

This is obviously huge news for the PC Community, especially for modders who will certainly do a lot of really cool things with the game. No official release date or price has been announced, but look for that information to come soon!

UPDATE: The pre-order page is up on Steam and it has a release date of April 28th. Note that it will not include Paige, as it was an exclusive for Showcase Season Pass subscribers. (Thanks for the assist @Nyteshade517)!

Will you be picking up WWE 2K15 for PC in a few weeks?

Wow. I'm not a pc gamer but this is great news!

The great thing about this is someone will probably find a way to have more than 25 CAWs (if that's even going to be a limit on the PC). On top of that, you won't have to waste spots of CAWs with alternate attires.

Maybe this will get me back into it, but damn I feel stupid for buying this on the PS4 earlier just to watch it sit on my shelf two months later.

Yet, WWE 2k16 will be out in less than 5 months after this releases on pc. They just should have waited.

It's going to be a straight port, tossed out into the market to make a few extra bucks with minimal work. It probably won't even be optimized.

I'm more interested in picking this up for any potential mods... could care less about WWE2k16 if the mods are great.

1) There has not been a wrestling game released on PC in.........forever. So this is irrelevant in the first place.

2) WWE 2k17 will be out in less than 12 months after WWE 2k16 releases, so what the hell does it matter? If people really care that much about release time frames then they shouldn't be buying sports games every year anyway.

We know 2k15 is coming out on PC in a few weeks; we have no idea if 2k16 will come out at all for it. Considering PC Gamers haven't had a wrestling game in forever and console gamers get one every 12 months, I'd say the one that's coming out soon is more important than a next one that may never even happen.

I would suspect that won't be a limit on the PC.

While I don't know anything for sure, I'd guess the reason for the limit on consoles is that the console manufacturers probably have a limit on the size of game saves since they both offer cloud storage, especially Microsoft since they don't put a limit on the amount of cloud storage that you get.

Now all we need is EA to go back to giving us Madden on PC and Sony to give us MLB The Show on PC and I won't need a next gen console.

I'm ecstatic. I told DJ it wasn't worth it to pick it up this late in the game, but then this news hits. I'm officially going to be grabbing this.

Now I feel like an idiot purchasing the game back on WrestleMania weekend lol

Oh wow. The possibilities for this are mind-boggling (though it may take some time, as it did for NBA).

They own AN MLB/MLBPA License, just not an all-encompassing, exclusive one. Without one they wouldn't be able to make that game.

I guess we'll have to see what they do with CAW slots...they could still limit it like on consoles, but the difference is that we could probably save and load backups if there is such a limit.

Sold the PS4 version after a few days, did not like it at all.

However, willing to give the PC version a shot. Interested in seeing some mods.

If mods are created for the PC version, might not have to buy 2K16!

Being an increasingly PC-centric gamer I always find myself getting the newest iteration of a game because the modding community always moves on to the newest version.

I'm not sure about others but modding for me has always been an incentive to get the newest version of a game.
