thanks for the tips, the bullpen management gave me info i never even thought of(still relatively new to baseball in terms of strategy) so this actually helps me now in determining who i need to get to warmup and such when my starter is about to come out.

Disappointed and rather confused as to why the Quick Shifts feature was omitted from MoM gameplay in MLB 15.

What is MoM gameplay? I've been seeing this on here for the last year and have no idea to what is referring. (Only joined PS last year so I am still new to The Show lingo).

MoM is short for "Manage Only Mode" where you don't control the players on the field but instead can still be part of the game by acting as if you are the manager in the dugout. There are those of us who like playing MoM games (yes we are the weirdos in the minority) and others who think we are wasting our time.

I guess my assumption that SCEA uses common code in the game is incorrect as I really don't understand why the Defensive Quick Shifts feature was excluded from MoM games. I still have fun with the game, but I am disappointed that the Quick Shifts were excluded and also disappointed that the base "Runners" HUD windows were also removed from our games when they existed in the MLB 14 game. Who's got some cheese to go along with all my whine. LOL

Oh and perhaps you have not seen "Manage" in the popup menu prior to entering a game because MoM can only be accessed from inside a Season or from inside your Franchise modes.

I miss the ability to adjust the positioning of individual fielder's. Shifting just the CF a little towards right makes a huge difference at at&t Park.

Is there a way to turn this off so the big box doesn't pop up every time a new batter steps to the plate

Still there just use the full defensive shifts menu.

I don't play MoM, but I think it's a pretty cool feature!

Outfielders have three preset depths (shallow, normal, deep) and three preset shifts (left, straight up, right).

Spoiler

But there is no way to manually move your guys around the field and set them in a specific spot, unfortunately.

It would be cool to have a "drag and drop" interface for each player instead of just a couple of preset spaces on the field.
