Ha! Perhaps now I'll be around for MLB 43: The Show on the PS7.

They will announce if a players gets 5,000 career homeruns on the radio show. I would hope so. That would be an amazing career accomplishment.

(Maybe it's just because for something like a cutscene where it only adds ascetic value, I dont really care to pay enough attention to it). IDK.
That cutscene is new from last year, but switch hitters wearing the wrong helmet during walkups has existed since I've been playing the game. Would it have been better to start that complaint with a preface about how much the game has improved??

Yes, it's an aesthetic complaint, but at this point nearly every complaint is; the game is damn near perfect.....just bring back traditional analog hitting.

That video was excellent.

Was the perma-sweat ring on that hats still there?

I heard Russel say mound visits now effect pitchers confidence in a positive or negative way depending on the time you do it. Was this already in 14? If not pretty cool feature that I wanted in since the MVP days

That has always been the case forever and a day in this series, pitcher confidence changing one way or the other on a mound visit.

Man I seriously didn't know that and I've been playing this game since The Show 08 haha.

Not a new feature. It's been in the game for a number of years.

Is there a visual to see if it boosted his confidence or took it down a notch? I know in MVP the confidence slider started jumping left and right during a mound visit and then locked in the + or - side of where the pitcher was before the visit.

It just goes up or down, you have to take notice of where it is before you do the mound visit. It would be helpful if there was a ghost mark to show where his confidence was to better see the percent change up or down.

they added new lines of commentary and had Matty V re-record the way he calls some of the play by play. Most notably being homeruns not being called off the bat.
