Now us sad ps3ers will have to look at the same old boring generic batting gloves and such. In my head i was thinking, if madden football on ps3 has the memory to show licensed equipment on all there players(nike gloves and cleats)why cant the show do the same.
Comparing 2 entirely different games does not work. Also the Show is content rich just look how much required hard drive space is required to operate it. There is no room to take it further visually unless you are sacrifing something else.

Like what they are doing with the menu's. I hate having to back out and in during a game. The more info I can find on one page, the better.

Question:
I'm not sure how this works but when a player misses a season by not playing the majors the next iteration of the show he's not in the game or he needs to be created. With Alex Rodriguez missing the whole season will he be represented in the game as a real player with his stats or will he need to be created? I know many aren't fans of ARod, but it's more of a question of how this affects his representation in the game.

He's in MLB 15. No need to worry.

For anyone wondering.
In order for a player to be in The Show after missing the previous season is the following.

Player has to be on a team's 40 man roster and injured out for the season.

Be on a team's 40 man roster and on the restricted list.

I love these guys as you can see they keep it real. Can't think of any other game developer who does this.

PS4 MLB 15 The Show preordered and paid in full.

Can't wait for franchise mode.

On the bright side you get custom music and ps4 owners don't.

Should we be concerned about who was placed on waivers while they were navigating the panels at the beginning??

Jose Bautista, Juan Encarnacion, and other top players??

That happens every year in real life. After the trade deadline majority of player goes on the waiver wire. If a team makes a claim they pull the back off.

Yes and no....they actually don't go officially on waivers.

Not a big deal though as I did forget to notice the July 31st date.

They are officially on waivers. Its just a special type of waiver (trade, recallable, whatever you want to call them) that allows the the team to pull them back if they were to be claimed.

Actually they do go on waivers. Its called Trade Waivers. When a player on trade waivers is "claimed" the team that placed him on waivers can either:

a) Work out a trade
b) Rescind the waiver
c) Do nothing and let the claiming team take the players contract (normal waiver)

If the claiming team rescinds the waiver, they cannot do a trade waiver again on that player for that season.

My point is only they don't show up on the wire for all to see.

I saw everyone that was on trade waivers in the game last year.

Revocable waivers.

No need to worry about the big names it is common for them to be put on revocable waivers yearly. Both Bryce Harper and Stephen Strasburg were put on revocable waiver and claimed this past season.

I'm almost positive ARod will be in the game. He is in the MLBPA.

The whole league basically gets put on waivers....I know how it works fellas.....just found it odd it to be scrolling in the news or transaction wire.

I used to work in media...we'd never post who got placed in the ticker..or on the wire we would just report the trades or actual claims with no take backs....

It's moot as its just a pet peeve...not game changing....just odd to me.
