From now (it actually started on the 12th) until February 16th, gamers can purchase NBA 2K15 for $29.99 (PC version) or try it out for free on Steam.

I click on Play game from the steam menu and absolutely nothing happens

Is it showing up in your Steam library? Should be greyed out and say "NBA 2K15 - 1 days left". If not try exiting Steam completely and restarting it. There was an issue Thursday where it wasn't showing up for everyone. Also you'll still have to install the game first...it's around 50GB so it'll take a bit.

I LOVE that a company is confident enough in their game that they will let people play it before they buy! I love 2K15!

Yeah free or super cheap is what they should do with nba 2k15. Post patch 3 gameplay is whack. The game has tons of eyecandy but lacks depth and is very inconsistent especially input lag online and offline. You'll constantly shoot about 30 percent, 50 percent free throws, and watch the shot meter keep moving after your release. Not to mention it's rollerderby in the key with contact they makes no sense. Get nba live if you want to play the game and not watch in awe of canimations present in 2k15
