OOTP Baseball has also posted a new blog post detailing the game's new manager-only mode.
The new manager only mode is a new option within the game, which lets you decide which of three types of gameplay you'd like to experience: Manager only, GM only, or both Manager and GM.
When in the manager-only mode, you will have a wealth of options for setting up your lineups to deliver a winner to the GM, who still has to deal with the owner and meet goals. This, of course, means you are having to meet those same goals as the GM won't keep you around too long if you can't produce a winner for him.
The manager-only mode does seem incredibly intriguing, as the prospect of your GM or owner demanding a trade of a player away from you -- and thus ruining the middle part of your lineup is a new challenge in OOTP you've never had to face before. We'll have more on the new manager-only mode as we get nearer to release!!
