NBA 2K15 News Post

Having trouble earning particular badges in NBA 2K15? NBA 2K Producer Zach Timmerman has just sent us the requirements for each one of them.

Key Notes
  • Simulating games will not count towards earning badges. You must play the games to meet the requirements.
  • Only one badge can be earned in MyPark / Jordan Rec Center (Swagger).
  • Badges can be earned by playing on any difficulty.
  • Unless specifically noted, any position can earn any badge.
  • Unlike what many believe, having the Cool and Collected or Volume Shooter badges will not prevent you from getting “hot” (which is required to earn Unfazed and Microwave).
  • Getting ejected or fouling out of a game will not impact your ability to earn badges.
  • For the ankle breaker dribble move badges, like Killer Crossover, you’ll generally have better luck earning them if you try the moves when you’re within 25 feet of the basket.
  • When earning a badge requires you to meet the requirements “in a single season”, it means just that. You cannot carry over stats or games played to the next season to earn the badge.

Picked up Interceptor and pick pocket on the same day. It's getting to be more fun.

Is deadeye worth it for the Park/Rec? I'm not gonna go for it but I'm sure I can make good progress towards it by the time my season is done. I don't have Volume Shooter but despite that I miss a ton of shots with a 89 stat. I have like 40 badges on my SF and I'm probably gonna go for Fade Ace, and Stepback Freeze on him before I work on my PG. I have about 8-10 badges on my PG.

It helps in the rec, but only on late-arriving defenders imo. If you take a bad shot it will still be a bad shot.

Just don't expect it to be game changing, because I did and I was sorely mistaken.

Today I got Corner Specialist on both my T-Mac and MJ accounts and Behind The Back Pro on MJ. Done playing for the day.

Any tips?
run 25 fist if you have it in your playbook its a screen and roll on the sideline it will free you up.

you only have to make 100 contested shots use the MJ jumpshot it works best

I got it after one game

Decided to get brick wall today and got it in 4 games on my SG. You can get a maximum of 2 Good Screen events per possession and I think I got about 40-50 of these Good Screen events in each game.

Absolutely loving setting screens in My Park and it's basically all I wanna do now. I'm literally knocking down 7'3 Centres with a 6'4 player it's hilarious.

Does anyone know how to commit a hard foul??

I believe there is a glitch there. My 7' center was limited like yours. My SF gets as many as I set.

It looks like it barely gonna help me out then. Been struggling to shoot ever since I left Sunset. Even over there I had trouble. I usually take Wide Open shots and some when a defender archives late.

I wanna go for it but it seem like it barely gonna help me with my Shooting at the Park/Rec. So I'm just gonna finish my Second season with my SF on Superstar or HOF, and if I get it then I'm fine with that.

Does anyone make more shots with Volume Shooter at the Park/Rec? Does anyone notice this on any of their players? I noticed I was able to hit 2-3 3s a game on my SG with a 87 shot than on my SF with a 89. My SF does not have VS but my SG does.

I've been trying to get the Brick Wall badge for my center and it seems like the "good screen" teammate grade only works on the first few offensive possessions of the game. After that, you can't get a "good screen" the rest of the game, regardless of how many you set.

Is anyone else experiencing this bug?

Finally got deadeye. Funny thing was I was about to give up so the game I only tried 10 contested shots or so. I was surprised when I got deadeye. Then I decided to go for posterizor the next game. I only did 2 or 3 contact dunks and a lot of lay ups but I got Posterizor after the one game

This is wrong, for deadeye you need to be playing on all-star or higher, I'm also fairly certain the same applies to closer as well.

Only equip dunks that elicit the contact animation. The tomahawk category is a go-to here.

I got deadeye on pro and most of the time trying was on rookie

Had redone my PF. I had Unfazed on him the first time but am having a heck of a time getting it again.

I got it on rookie, but I had to make like 400 shots to get it.

Going for Shot creator now, hope I can get it by just doing pain jumpers. Got Fade ace a few days ago. Those along with Master in and Out and Stepback Freeze are the last badges I want on my SF before I go to my PG.
