It’s bitterly cold across much of the USA, so what better time to reflect on some of the best baseball games of past eras? A brand new guest joins the show this episode, as Chris Baker looks back at his long history of playing baseball games ‘back in the day’ and joins host Rich Grisham to compare and contrast their personal old-school baseball games. In addition, the two discuss other interesting and honorable mentions as well as listing a bunch of listener-submitted nominations. Enjoy the show!

The arcade baseball game that was mentioned with the batter/pitcher mechanism is called "World Series". I remember it well because I got really good with hitting home runs.

Can't wait to listen to this at work on Monday, so many good baseball games in the past. I'd love to hear one of these dedicated to football games. I wonder if you guys would nail it or drop the ball on some

I remember having quite the delay in finally getting into High Heat 2002.

I was awaiting its arrival in the mail when lo and behold our darling daughter decided she wanted to come into the world a month early. We spent the week in NICU with her, when we arrived home she had to be on oxygen, and just having a new baby in the house kept me from touching the game until almost May.

Well worth the wait, best experience ever with a baseball game.

Loved Earl Weaver baseball and Tony La Russa as well.
