With WWE 2K15 having kind of a strange release schedule, a lot of users have been waiting to see whether the new consoles make this year's entry worthy of the upgrade. After spending some time with the Xbox One version, it's safe to say that 2K's influence on this year's product is obvious. From some of the subtle animations changes and presentational flair, everything has received a boost in some way.

Then again, from what I've seen, there are clearly areas where corners have been cut to ship a product on time, such as missing modes, a smaller roster and a diminished creation suite. We're not talking NHL 15 levels of feature and mode omission here, but there are some items missing, so make sure you go in with your eyes open. Some users are quite upset at only 25 create-a-wrestler spots, for instance, compared to 100 on previous generation hardware.

Yeah. Same thing happened to me this morning. Downloaded the accelerator last night and everything was fine until I fired up the game this morning. Received that message and decided to just accept what happened rather than wait. Since I havent played anything but the showcase, it wasnt a huge deal. Sort of upsetting though since i completed 12/19 of the "Hustle, loyalty, disrespect" portion of the showcase. Even though I downloaded the accelerator, I was still going through the showcase to unlock my items. However, since I had to start over, i used the accelerator to download and unlock all the content to soften the blow.

Despite the issues, I am having tons of fun playing the game. Going to try to do the showcases again to get that completed. I like to do those first and then move onto my universe and my career but may just do it all in parallel.

just finished up both showcase modes. love the mode and am quite tempted to purchase the DLC just for more of this mode.

I'm really liking this game. Graphics and gameplay are really good, which keeps me interested. I'll play the my career, but I'm a huge universe mode guy, and will be putting in hours of gameplay in that mode. The audio in this game is very impressive. This will definitely hold me over til next year.

Extremely disappointed by the removal of Create an Arena and no "generic/hidden" entrances.

how can so many people say they've had fun with MyCareer mode? it's so repetitive -- it's literally match after match until you win the title and then it ends. 2k showcase is far better single player mode.

The entrances are my big annoyance. Even trying to edit some superstars' entrances for timing reasons, Adrian Neville and Tyson Kidd don't even have preset parts for theirs.

The game is fun though, just doing Universe at the moment, but I'm planning on starting the showcases off soon

Can someone tell me which old school guys are out there? I'm looking for 24 guys from the 90s and (very) early 2000s. I haven't seen wrestling in like 10 years, and am debating on getting this game. I love wrestling games, but would need to download 24 older guys and CAW to make it worth it. Thank you!!

I can't upload a face anymore..every time I go to MyLogo the game freezes. Been like that for a few days. It worked fine when the game first came out but a few days later I uploaded one and haven't been able to get to that screen at all. I can go to the Community creations and download things.

I completely slept on the pre orders, I know that other Showcases will be avaliable for DLC, will the Hogan and Sting packs be avaliable down the line?

Most likely its what they usually do with the Pre-Order DLC stuff

I have a love/hate relationship with this game. Graphically and gameplay wise, this game is great! However, that lack of customization that I've been accustomed to over the years with WWE games, really kills my immersion into the game.

I really want to get into this game, but its difficult. I've done the showcases and am playing my career, but my mode of choice that I buy the games for is Universe and for me, there's enough missing that is hampering the experience.

Same here. I thought I would play this alongside the Show. But I'm actually playing nothing but the Show with this here and there.

I'm really enjoying the game (in the few opportunities I've had to play it so far), but for the life of me I suck at kick-outs this year, particularly after charged finishers. I can't get the timing down at all. Consequently, I'm losing repeatedly in 2K Showcase against Triple H haha.

Anyone have any tips / suggestions / means by which I can practice kickouts all day? lol

In 2002 everyone lost to HHH. I haven't had a chance to play this week but will try and finish up the Showcases. Does completing them unlock everything or is there more to it?

I enjoy this a lot more than 2k14, but it's not life-consuming as I had hoped.

Still probably the best one in the series though purely because the in-ring stuff is so good.

Still adjusting to the gameplay mechanics. They seem pretty good, but a lot different from the last game I've played (WWE 13). The first thing that stood out to me was the Soundtrack. None of the songs are life changing, but they definitely set a pretty good mood for the game.

It seems like this series of games is going in the right direction with 2K.

I'd love to have a sting code. I moved my pre order when u saw the poor reviews and regret it. Game has some oditties but is fun gameplay wise. Creating nxt and raw in the universe and just letting it go.

Ughhhhhh, after downloading the accelerator pack last night I got hit by the save data glitch this morning. I lost everything except for My Career progress. I finished all the Showcases but glad My Career wasn't deleted or else I would be pissed for the amount of time I have spent on it so far. I'm afraid now with each DLC release is this going to happen again like last year.
