yeah you pretty much need a high end pc to play this game

Yeah lets concentrate on letting people play for free 2K and not worry about fixing the servers for the people who actually bought it. Smh.

It showed up in my library and says "4 days left" yet the only option is to ""pre-load" it. So I am. But I am not sure what I'll get when it's done preloading. I have it on the PS4 but really wanna see this on my PC. Hope it works.

edit: Steam downloaded a client update and I had to restart it and now it says "play" instead of "preload" so I am guessing it will work when it's all done downloading?

Not really.I have a Pentium G3528, a 7770 and 4 GB of ram. Can play at medium settings 60+ FPS. My PC costs less than 400. Add another 100 and i could play it maxed out. You get better performance than an Xbox for the same price.

Yea restart steam and check your library, it will be in there and say 4 days left to play. Then just install

I find online on the PC version really smooth and lag free.

I hope this isn't due to low sales : (

Nice, maybe I'm asking to much but can we see a price drop? 59.99 on pc is just straight profits. Lol. No disc no nothing. Come on. I miss the 22.99 days lol.

Yeah... Because the team working on resolving the remaining server issues will be totally distracted by a free-play weekend

2K should be ashamed of themselves for letting people play for free for a weekend. The nerve of this company... And only 3 patches (day one patch + 2) in almost a whole month since the games been out... They just don't care about us AT ALL.

This is steam's deal more so 2k. Its mainly just getting permission from the publishers and I'm sure steam takes over from there.. Its not really that time consuming.

smh

people complain just to complain sometimes. My Lord lol

In a few days the Xbox One is dropping to $350 with a free, recently released, $60 game.

This is perfect! I get to test to see how it plays/looks on my PC to see if I want or need to buy a new video card. Good looking out! DL'ing now

Does anybody know if the Steam versions of NBA 2k15 have the patch installed with it? I'm suffering from micro-stuttering during gameplay and terrible input lag(worst than XB1). Not sure if its my PC or the game.

As far as I know, the game is tied to Steam so it should have all the patches available. I have no stuttering and the input lag for me is lower than on PS4, so it's probably your computer.

I downloaded the free version too and no stuttering at all for me (max settings).

# 18 zlik98 @ 11/02/14 11:02 AM
is the game just free to play for this weekend? or we can still playing it after the offer expires?

# 19 trobinson97 @ 11/03/14 12:36 AM
It's just for the weekend, it's not a free game, lol. It'll stay in your library until you delete it so if you decide to buy, you won't have to download everything again.
