Can we stop with the two year thing? The NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL would never allow EA or any game developer to regularly skip years. Those leagues get revenue from each game sold so you are asking those leagues to take a financial hit every other year.

The UFC situation is different because instead of 30-32 owners its the Fertitas and Dana. Also if this game sold anything like a Fifa or NFL, I promise you EA would go to every year. THQ tried it and realized that there isnt enough roster turnover and consumer demand to justify a new game every year.

I think people are just fed up with spending $70 a year on something that hardly gets an upgrade. Personally speaking I only play NHL out of the EA games and I know every year hardly anything gets changed and it seems like more stuff gets broken.

Last year was the terrible puck bounce when you dumped the puck which basically ruined the gameplay. This year they basically gutted the game(they did improve the gameplay alot) although it is their first NHL game on PS4/Xbone so I will gave them a pass. 2013 I believe they added fighting and that was basically it.

I mean hell, the NHL series still suffers from a massive lack of penalites, which is a big part of the game in real life and it has been this way for YEARS and it is still not fixed. They always seem to add one feature, update the rosters and slap a $70 tag on it year after year. I only buy the NHL series on sale when I can find a good deal on it. I am a huge NHL fan but have come to realize that buying their NHL series every other year is the way to go.

If they can just tighten up the striking and make it a tiny bit heavier - not much - then we will be really getting somewhere. Far too many strikes can still land without too much consequence.

I want to be scared of getting hit in the head. Great support though, seriously. This game was a shell of what it could and should have been, but it is now so much better it is ridiculous. Good work EA

I LOVE the Diego Sanchez addition. Now, just like others have said, we need Dennis Bermudez and Yoel Romero!

Did Brad Pickett ever get moved to Flyweight?

Nope. Not yet and I don't think it's been brought to the dev teams attention like mousasi and Diaz were.

I tried with this game. I hoped that the last patch would finally deal with excessive strike throwing, but still, they refuse to address the issue of stamina. It is the same exact problem that was in FNC.

I was hopeful, but when a guy can throw 300+ strikes in a accelerated clock, 3 round fight, and still shoot takedowns like its a breeze, the game just can't be enjoyed. There is no sense of making a guy pay for his recklessness. And now that we are this many patches in, I think that's just what they want.

That's my main issue with this game. I like to fight like real life. But picking your spots in this game has no rewards. Only way to win is fight like mad men. Aka Diego style. It's really a shame

They've definitely made it 10 times better since it came out, but yeah my issues are the same.

There's little incentive to protect the head, and it's rare that you can finish a fight on the feet with technical striking only

It is much, much better now though so thank you EA.

I got this game, didn't enjoy it, but now I'm seeing a lot of good news from these patches.

Has there been a patch that makes guys fight more like they do in real life? It seemed like every fighter just came forward and swung for the fences.

The previous UFC games did a better job at capturing fighters real life tendencies IMO.
